前些日子和 bitwater 水哥聊起近 1 年来的投资心得,水哥提到自己最重要的 α 收益主要来自 BTC 生态和 FSL 生态。作为早已自由的币圈 OG,水哥经历了多次牛熊,他的投资理念和心态修炼一直对我影响颇深。

投产品,先看团队。在币圈尤其容易出现“项目方软 rug”,选择项目时团队的可靠性至关重要。FSL 团队的联合创始人 Yawn 和 Jerry 已经用超过 3 年的时间证明了他们是币圈里少有的靠谱团队。无论是牛市还是熊市,他们始终专注于产品打磨,不断为社区带来惊喜和价值回报。这样的持续投入和坚定执行力,是 FSL 能在加密市场中屹立不倒的重要原因之一。

STEPN GO 的创新与优化设计

在花费上亿真金白银、吸取了多个产品设计和运营的得失经验之后,FSL 在 STEPN GO 上从经济模型、市场运营策略到用户体验,做了全面的针对性的优化:

经济模型优化:如何实现更持久和健康的增长?

链游项目普遍面临“死亡螺旋”的困境——老用户通过挖提卖赚取新用户的钱,一旦老用户不再复投、新用户增长放缓,整个项目就会陷入“死亡螺旋”中。传统的链游经济模型难以根本解决这个问题,常见的手段如质押、积分、多重资产套娃、画饼等各种 PUA 手段,方式、目的都是为了尽可能的拉长预期、让老玩家复投、挖提卖的抛压延后,这仅仅只能延缓问题的发生。

STEPN GO 通过彻底重构能量系统、多元化博弈机制、引入和限制规模性 farmer 行为,来尝试构建了一个更具弹性和可持续性的经济生态,破解这一困境。

1. 能量系统重构

在旧版 STEPN 中,能量系统导致了严重的通胀问题,用户通过购买鞋子 NFT 持续产出代币,经济的稳定性完全依赖于复投和新用户的进入。供需失衡时,大量低价 NFT 被积压,导致价格下跌,整个经济系统进入恶性循环。尽管后期通过加入 HP 系统增加 NFT 维护成本、以及通过五合一合成机制来提高低价 NFT 的消耗,但这些措施并未从根本上解决问题。

在 STEPN GO 中,经济模型得到了大胆重构,移除了传统的“持有鞋子 NFT 获得能量并按时间恢复”的模式,转而采用“燃烧鞋子 NFT 获得能量和每日能量上限”的全新设计。这种设计要求用户通过销毁 NFT 来获取能量,确保了对低价 NFT 的持续需求,有效避免了地板 NFT 积压的问题。

如果将其比作游戏模式更易理解:

  • 在旧的 STEPN 模型中,用户只需持有鞋子即可持续产出代币,类似于“时间免费游戏”,用户无需付出额外成本。

  • STEPN GO 更像是“时间付费游戏”,用户通过燃烧鞋子来获得点卡(能量),点卡的使用量可灵活调整。这种机制不仅消除了用户的焦虑,还让他们可以根据实际需求控制成本,从而减少对系统的负担。

2. 多元矿池和博弈机制

为了进一步优化用户的收益模式,STEPN GO 引入了多元矿池机制,初期仅开放了“效率矿池”,用户可以通过消耗能量获取 $GGT。在项目后续的更新计划里,STEPN GO 将逐步开放其他三种矿池供用户选择:

  • 魅力矿池:产出服装碎片,用户可以用来定制个性化装扮,推动消费向奢侈品和非生产性资产转移;

  • 业力矿池:提供 PvP 玩法,用户通过与其他玩家的比拼获得 GMT 收益;

  • 运气矿池:用户有机会通过运动获得神秘宝箱和随机原石,增加了游戏的趣味性和奖励的不确定性。

每次运动时,用户只能选择一个矿池进行收益获取,通过这种设计,STEPN GO 实现了用户需求的多样化分流,避免了单一代币产出过剩引发的通胀压力。用户还可以根据市场需求和个人策略灵活切换矿池,保证了整个经济模型的动态调整能力。

更重要的是,这种多矿池设计增加了用户之间的博弈机制。不同玩家需要根据市场的变化和个人需求选择最佳策略,用户的行为模式更加分散,避免了过度依赖单一代币的产出模式,从而实现了供需平衡,减少了对新用户资金的依赖。

3. HAUS 系统与社交经济驱动

STEPN GO 的一大亮点是其 HAUS 系统,这套系统通过邀请机制和社交关系,将经济模型与用户的社交互动紧密结合。

想要入场?花钱买鞋都不行,必须要通过老玩家生成“邀请码”才可以加入,而老用户生成邀请码的基础门槛是“消耗 10 能量+燃烧至少 2 只鞋子”,每消耗 10 点能量+非灵魂绑定的鞋子才可以产生 1 个邀请码,按现在的 5400 u 的鞋价,相当于有人至少消费 6000 u 才能送出 1 个租鞋邀请码,至少消费 11400 u 才能送出一个 buddy 激活码——每个邀请码的背后,意味着现有玩家已经在项目中进行了大量投入。

当邀请码如此珍惜之时,若你是已在场中获利的玩家,你会倾向于随意给一个陌生人还是熟悉的亲人朋友?或是那个你喜欢的想要示好的女生?这种机制促使老玩家会更倾向于邀请自己信任的亲人、朋友或是有社交关系的人,而不是随意发放给陌生人。这不仅增强了社区的稳固性,也提升了玩家对游戏和社区的认同感。通过这种基于真实社交关系的邀请制,STEPN GO 将能构建一个高度互动且稳定的社区生态,减少了随机用户的涌入,避免了不负责任的邀请带来的风险。

未来,随着奢侈品消费和炫耀性物品(如稀有套装)的加入,STEPN GO 不再仅仅依赖用户的“挖提卖”行为,而是逐步引导玩家向更加个性化和社交化的消费方向发展。而通过邀请制构建出来的社区,就是实现该目标的重要保障——从全员“挖提卖”转化为部分人为了炫耀性消费需求买单将不再是“画饼”的口号,而是有了真实实现的可能性,STEPN GO 也能真正的从财务激励型转型为更加长远、稳定的社交驱动型经济系统。

4. 限制挖提卖与工作室劝退

挖提卖和 farmer 问题是几乎所有 web3 项目都会面临的挑战。特别是高效、理智、无情的工作室类高效 farmer 进入市场后,通常会利用高效的多账户操作或脚本自动化操作,在短时间内挖空市场资源,加剧市场压力,导致代币价格崩溃,对项目产生毁灭性影响。

STEPN GO 引入了一系列机制软性限制了挖提卖行为,并有效劝退工作室类规模化 farmer。

  • 暗藏的时间和资源成本

    在 STEPN GO 中,用户的收益与其健身水平挂钩,每个新用户必须经历 14 天的健身水平变化过程,期间收益从 100% 逐步递减至 50%,最终恢复到 150%的“强壮脚”buff 状态,得到这个状态后也不是永久的,如果在5天内未消耗足够的能量(至少2能量),将失去150%的buff,收益回退到50%的“酸痛脚”状态。

    繁殖新的 NFT 也增加了时间成本——用户每消耗 15 点能量才能获得一个 mint 配额。用户通过出租鞋子让能量消耗更高效,更快获得 mint 配额,但是所有的 mint 配额都将在 14 天租期结束时才能收回。这样的改动,让老 STEPN 中的纯“繁殖流”没有了生存空间。

  • 高磨损限制与提币成本

    在 STEPN GO 中,提币时需扣除 5 GGT 的费用(提 NFT 是 10 GGT),进一步限制了用户频繁提币的行为。此举在挖提卖中增加了额外的经济成本,迫使用户在提币决策时更加谨慎,并有效减缓了市场中的代币抛压。此外,持续的燃烧鞋子获取能量的设计,确保了 NFT 的持续消耗,从根本上降低了 NFT 和代币过度积压的问题。

  • 对工作室 farmer 的劝退

    STEPN GO 是工作室类 farmer 不愿意碰的类型,收益设计复杂且回报不确定,批量上号困难,时间成本高无法快速变现离场,项目方防作弊的技术防护能力极强……不能再往下细说了 dddd🤐

我相信这个新的经济模型可为 STEPN GO 带来了更强的可持续发展能力,或将为其他链游项目提供了一个全新的解决方案。

市场宣发策略优化

我曾深入研究过多个项目的宣发策略,也有幸曾作为顾问为某顶级项目主导设计过宣发策略和具体落地方案,深知「空投是一把双刃剑」—— 空投是一种通过分发资产来激励用户的手段,的确有效,但若使用不当,反噬效应也很明显:

  • 空投不及预期 --> 被骂

  • 空投规则有漏洞 --> 被骂

  • 将空投大量送给了“错误”的用户 --> 灾难

  • 空投资产远大于项目初期需求--> 更大灾难

反观 STEPN GO 的空投与市场运营策略,到目前为止,每一步都走得非常稳健成功,值得每个项目方认真学习。来看他们是如何做的:

  • 通过 4 年质押抽奖送出第一波灵魂绑定资产:这一波筛选了忠诚度高的目标用户,作为新项目启动的种子用户,同时也为他们带来了“头矿福报”奖励。通过抽奖的形式比设置复杂规则公平得多,而灵魂绑定且随机分配的方式,则有效劝退了那些撸毛党和套利工作室,设计上非常巧妙。

  • 为质押抽奖未中奖用户提供“单鞋”安慰奖:要开始入场至少需要 2 只鞋,烧 1 只鞋获得能量,另 1 只鞋用来走路。当前市价 5400u 的鞋子白送一只,再买一只就可以开始日赚 200u。这诱惑谁能挡住?这部分用户也是当前阶段的主要需求方

  • 线下活动赠送“单鞋”邀请码给真实用户:8月在台北和日本举行的见面会,吸引了超过百名跑友参加,现场赠送了超过百个“单鞋”邀请码,进一步激活了目标用户群体。

  • 招募 GO'er,通过社区冷启动宣传:通常 Web3 项目会找 KOL 投放付费内容,通过提供 Token/NFT 资产作为报酬。但 KOL 质量参差不齐,很多 KOL 只能给项目方带来短期的炒作,达不到预期效果,空投的资产还会被抛售,形成抛压。反观 STEPN GO,并未选择这种传统方式,而是通过招募 GO'er(类似低配版的大使)完成了大量前期的内容创作、社区教育和宣传预热工作。

  • 让老用户决定谁可以“0 风险”免费入场:正如我之前提到的,只有开通了 Haus 系统的老玩家才能邀请新用户。这些老玩家可以将自己的多余鞋子出租给新人,按比例分成,新人 0 成本、0 风险即可加入。而 Haus 系统的主人们则会获得更高的能量消耗效率和更快的 mint 配额,同时还有被需要、被尊重的情绪价值。社交性在这里得到了充分发挥。可能有人会问:“我为什么要给别人用,不是给小号更好?” —— 但是 STEPN GO 的 AI 防作弊系统非常严格,限制了科技和多开行为,跑步本身也有体力极限,而且并不是所有人都只看利益,许多人更愿意分享给自己亲密的朋友或家人。只要不是每个新用户都是“小号”,这个系统就能稳定扩展。

  • 严控用户增长速度与流通市值:STEPN GO 通过邀请码系统限制用户增长速度,确保初期的流动性和代币价格保持稳定。当前 GGT 价格维护得非常好,稳步上升。(我并没有证据说这是项目方控盘🤐,只是表达:当流通量和用户量较小时,拉盘护盘是相对容易的)在币圈没有什么比币价持续上涨更好的广告,涨即是正义。没有上交易所、没有合约和借币,也有效抑制了炒币投机行为。

  • 创始人亲自下场卖力吆喝:黑神话悟空工作室对外的招聘广告中要求必须热爱且深度玩自己的游戏,一个优秀的产品,开发者必定是其最忠实的用户。自从 STEPN GO 发布后,联合创始人 @Jerry10240 天天在推上晒自己的跑步数据,今天更是突袭发布了个先到先得的租客邀请码,最好的 Trainer 鞋,5 : 5 高额分成,4 周租期!快给他点个小铃铛关注起来。

用户体验优化

Web3 的用户体验一直是大规模 adoption 的巨大障碍,特别是在账户管理和初始资产获取这两个环节上。虽然“Connect wallet”这种设计曾被 Web3 圈内的人视为革命性的突破,但对普通用户来说,却成了最大的阻碍。

在 STEPN GO 中,团队深刻意识到这一痛点,并在用户体验上做出了大胆的优化,尤其是在登录流程和资产管理方面。这些改进不仅大幅降低了用户的学习成本,也让 Web3 的体验更贴近 Web2,为真正推动 mass adoption 提供了基础条件。

1. 更 Web2 的账户登录体验

Web3 平台一向推崇“钱包即账户”的设计,但这也是让普通用户望而却步的最大障碍。获取链上初始资产、跨链、钱包助记词备份……每一步都是让人头疼的学习成本。Privy 产品固然是 web3 账户登录产品中的翘楚,但殊不知比 Privy 更早推出的 STEPN 也是使用邮箱注册和登录的方式,有效降低了用户进入的门槛,在当时完成了破圈和 mass adoption 的成果,也成为 22 年 web3 业内最闪亮的星

到了 STEPN GO,登录体验更是进一步简化。只需一个 FSL ID,登录过程和 Web2 产品几乎完全一致。以苹果用户为例,注册账号只需两步:

1) 点击“continue with Apple”

2) 点击“Create passkey”

接下来,用户只需要扫个脸就能登录。这种极简化的设计,彻底打破了 Web3 的钱包壁垒,用户不再需要理解复杂的钱包系统,门槛瞬间降低。

2. 降低学习门槛,简化操作

在旧版的 STEPN 里,新用户上手有很高的学习成本:要选择哪种鞋子?鞋子属性怎么分配?HP 维修是什么?宝石和宝箱又该怎么用?每一个选择都需要花时间去研究。

而在 STEPN GO 中,进一步秉承了“Less is better”的设计理念。新人只需要理解一件事——走路运动就能赚钱。没有 HP 维修,没有宝石选择,鞋子的属性也只有一个“效率”,不再有复杂的决策环节。这种简化的设计让用户一进入系统就能迅速上手,直接开始运动和赚钱,学习成本被压缩到最低。

3. 更便捷的资产管理与跨链划转

STEPN GO 还在跨链操作和资产管理上做了非常大的优化。通过 FSL ID,用户只需邮箱注册登录就能获得多链地址,并且可以直接在 FSL ID 内完成加密资产的 Swap,并能轻松管理其在平台内多链产品之间的资产映射和关联,避免了传统 Web3 产品中复杂的跨链转账流程。

4. Haus 系统巧妙解决了新用户的财务门槛

对新用户来说,购入 Crypto 资产并承担财务风险一直是最大的心理负担。STEPN GO 通过 Haus 系统巧妙地绕过了这个问题。

Haus 系统让老用户可以将自己的鞋子打包进激活码中,出租或赠送给新人。租赁模式下,老玩家提供鞋子、负责鞋子的挑选、升级和加点,租客只需输入激活码就能 0 成本开始跑赚,完全不需要担心 Crypto 资产的损失风险。而在赠送模式下,新用户同样输入激活码即可上手,再也不用像以前那样,朋友送鞋子,自己还得弄懂钱包、Gas 费用、NFT 转账等一系列复杂操作。

最重要的是,这种设计确保每个新用户都是被“带入”的,始终有人指导,避免了让新人独自摸索 Crypto 世界,巧妙地解决了财务门槛和风险问题,这可能会是 Web3 产品迈向大众应用的重要一步。

STEPN GO 再次破圈的机会来了?

今年的 Crypto 市场几乎所有人都很难,市场情绪低落,“老韭菜们”已经历了太多,怕被割、怕跑的慢,都捂紧口袋、谨慎投资。
