$XRP ($XRP) reserves on Binance have reached their highest level since November 2025. At the same time, on-chain metrics indicate whales may be stepping back into the market.

While rising exchange reserves may signal growing tradable supply, the return of positive whale flows suggests large investors could be absorbing that liquidity, pointing to a potential shift in $XRP’s market structure.

$XRP Binance Reserves Rise as Whale Flow Turns Positive

According to analyst Arab Chain, reserves of $XRP on Binance have climbed to around 2.78 billion tokens, reversing a decline that began in late 2025. Exchange balances had previously fallen from above 2.8 billion $XRP to roughly 2.55 billion by February, suggesting reduced tradable supply during that period.

“Structurally, a rise in reserves on exchanges is often interpreted as a potential increase in the tradable supply in the spot market, as a larger quantity of coins becomes available for immediate trading. However, this does not necessarily imply immediate selling pressure, as it can also reflect increased trading activity or investors positioning themselves ahead of potential market movements,” the analyst wrote.

Meanwhile, the more notable development may be on the demand side. $XRP’s Whale Flow 30-day moving average (30DMA) turned positive in March for the first time since November 2025, ending a four-month stretch of negative readings.

This metric tracks the net capital flow of large holders. A shift from negative to positive suggests whales have moved from net distribution to net accumulation. If sustained, that buying pressure could absorb much of the newly available exchange supply without weighing heavily on price.

The altcoin market has become a source of deep frustration for crypto investors during this cycle. Despite numerous forecasts from analysts, a clear and sustained altcoin phase has yet to appear in recent months.

This has led to growing frustration as traders wait for a broad breakout among altcoins. But according to crypto analyst Sykodelic, that frustration misses the bigger picture. Altcoins have not failed because the asset class is finished. They have failed to move because the macro backdrop that normally leads to major altcoin expansions never arrived.

Altcoins Are Stuck In A Liquidity Desert
Altcoins are the part of the crypto market most dependent on excess liquidity. They tend to perform best when money is loose, economic activity is improving, and crypto participants are willing to move further out of Bitcoin and invest in other cryptocurrencies. That environment, according to Sykodelic, has never truly shown up in force this cycle.

The chart Sykodelic shared places the OTHERS index, which tracks the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies outside the top ten, alongside two macro indicators: the Federal Reserve Net Liquidity and the Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI). The interesting thing is that those three have always moved in the same direction.

During the 2020/2021 cycle, for example, all three moved in the same direction. The Fed Net Liquidity rose very fast, PMI was in expansion, and the OTHERS index increased from a market cap below $100 billion to almost $600 billion.

The current cycle has told a different story. Fed Net Liquidity spent the better part of two years in a prolonged ranging pattern and oscillating without a clear directional trend. The PMI, meanwhile, spent most of that stretch in contraction, registering below 50 for 26 consecutive months before returning to expansion in January 2026. The OTHERS index, reflectin

In an X post on March 14, the organization announced that it was offloading 5,000 ETH, worth approximately $10 million, at an average price of $2,042.96 through an over-the-counter (OTC) transaction. The buyer in this deal is Bitmine, a publicly traded Bitcoin mining company that operates under the ticker BMNR.

According to the Ethereum Foundation, the ETH transaction was confirmed on-chain through the organization’s Safe multisig wallet at address: 0x9fC3dc011b461664c835F2527fffb1169b3C213e. The sale represents part of the foundation’s broader treasury management strategy, which is guided by detailed policies published in 2025.

The Ethereum Foundation has also stated that the funds raised from the sale will be used for its core operations and activities. These include protocol research and development, ecosystem management, and community grant funding. Bitmine’s involvement as an OTC counterparty highlights a growing network of institutional buyers interested in participating in the Ethereum ecosystem. The company has continued to buy ETH even during volatile market conditions.

Notably, the move also follows a series of previous ETH sales by the organization, demonstrating a structured approach toward funding its operational and developmental priorities. In July 2025, the foundation sold 10,000 ETH to SharpLink Gaming through a similar OTC arrangement. Before that, the Ethereum Foundation had carried out

Channel breakout signals shifting market structure

CFX has spent several months trading inside a clear descending channel that consistently guided lower highs and declining price pressure. 

Recently, however, buyers have stepped in near the $0.044 support region and initiated a strong rebound from that defensive level. 

The recovery has gradually pushed price upward until the asset finally broke above the upper boundary of the descending channel. 

Such structural breaks often signal weakening bearish control. Because the breakout emerged alongside stronger buying activity, traders increasingly view the move as an early shift in market structure. 

Directional Movement Index readings have begun showing clear signs that buyer pressure is strengthening across the market. 

The +DI line climbed above the –DI line at press time, indicating that bullish forces currently dominate recent price movement. 

At the same time, the ADX value rose to around 25.98, reflecting strengthening trend intensity rather than fading activity. CFX

now advances toward the $0.070 resistance zone, which has historically acted as a strong pivot. 

If buyers maintain pressure near current levels, this reclaimed structure could support further upside exploration.
