Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana crypto exchange-traded funds [ETFs] posted positive net inflows over the past seven days. It comes as broader crypto prices weakened over the same period.

The data shows investors adding exposure at the ETF level despite short-term market pressure, suggesting allocation behavior diverged from recent spot price trends.

Bitcoin ETFs post strong weekly inflows despite daily outflows
Bitcoin ETFs recorded a 7-day net inflow of 11,213 BTC, equivalent to $734.4 million. Total Bitcoin ETF holdings stood at 1,271,675 BTC, valued at approximately $83.29 billion.

Flows were mixed across issuers. BlackRock’s IBIT, the largest spot Bitcoin ETF by assets, saw $499 BTC in daily outflows but still posted $7,302 BTC in inflows over the past week.

Grayscale’s GBTC and BTC funds added 1,732 BTC over seven days, while Fidelity’s FBTC recorded 523 BTC in weekly inflows. Bitwise and ARK 21Shares also remained net positive on a weekly basis.

Ethereum ETFs rebound on a weekly basis
Ethereum ETFs followed a similar pattern. While 1-day net flows were negative at –12,307 ETH [$23.75 million], the 7-day net inflow reached 36,108 ETH, equivalent to $69.69 million. Total Ethereum ETF holdings stood at 5,697,268 ETH, valued at roughly $11 billion.

Weekly inflows were led by Grayscale’s ETHE and ETH products, which added 37,145 ETH, alongside Fidelity’s FETH, which recorded 18,696 ETH over the same period.

VanEck’s ETHV was marginally negative on the week, while other issuers remained net positive.

Solana ETFs continue to attract capital
Solana ETFs saw positive inflows across both the daily and weekly timeframes. The sector recorded 1-day net inflows of 17,941 SOL [$1.49 million] and 7-day net inflows of 525,600 SOL [$43.62 million].

Total Solana ETF holdings reached 9,415,110 SOL, valued at approximately $781.45 million.

In a recent post on the X platform, Chartered Market Technician Tony Severino shared an insight into the current technical outlook of the Bitcoin price as February came to a close. According to the crypto market expert, the flagship cryptocurrency appears to have bounced back from a crucial support level around the $60,000.

Severino’s analysis is based on the ascending channel pattern on the Bitcoin price chart on the monthly timeframe. An ascending channel is a pattern in technical analysis marked by two major (upward-sloping) trendlines: the upper line connecting the swing highs and the lower line connecting the swing lows.

In an X post, the analyst shared two parallel charts, explaining that in late 2021, the Russell 2000 underwent a massive rally followed by a lengthy period of accumulation and consolidation from 2022 through most of 2024.

When the small-cap index eventually retested its all-time highs in late 2024, it formed a sharp Elliott Wave ABC corrective pattern that shook out weak hands. Following this, the index staged a dramatic V-bottom reversal in early 2025 and broke out into full price discovery territory.

According to Austin’s analysis, XRP’s current chart appears to mirror a nearly identical blueprint to the Russell 2000 price action between 2021 and 2025. After its own massive pump and prolonged accumulation phase, XRP recently surged to retest its previous all-time high resistance near the $3.30 level on the chart. Following that retest, the cryptocurrency entered a similar ABC correction, mirroring almost step by step the movements of the Russell 2000 before its explosive breakout.

St. Cloud Financial Credit Union Rolls Out Core-Integrated Digital Asset Platform for Members

St. Cloud Financial Credit Union (SCFCU) announced the launch of its CU-Digital Asset Vault, a digital-asset platform built specifically for credit union members.

Essentially, the Vault integrates directly with the credit union’s core systems, allowing members to hold and manage digital assets – like Bitcoin – while keeping the credit union in control of data, governance, and member relationships.

The Vault uses DaLand’s CUSO’s Coin2Core architecture to connect digital-asset activity to SCFCU’s existing infrastructure.

Unlike many digital-asset services that hand off wallets — and along with them, control of member relationships, deposits, and data — to outside providers, the Vault keeps management in the hands of the credit union.

Members stay in control of their own assets through a hybrid self-custody system, while SCFCU adds institutional-level safeguards and reporting, the credit union said in a press release seen by Bitcoin Magazine.

“Credit unions need an operating model that protects the member relationship and works over the long term,” said Jed Meyer, CEO of SCFCU. “This Vault keeps the credit union at the center while giving members ownership and security.”

Many early digital-asset services depend on third-party wallets or vendors that sit outside a financial institution’s systems. That setup can create a fragmented experience for users and limits the institution’s view of member activity. SCFCU’s Vault works differently.

By bringing digital assets directly into its core operations, the credit union can oversee transactions, manage risk, and keep data in-house.

The disruption follows the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei in joint US-Israeli strikes on Saturday, which prompted Tehran to launch retaliatory attacks across multiple Gulf states. At least four vessels have been hit in Gulf waters, and major shipping companies and insurers have effectively withdrawn from the corridor.

Kpler confirmed that commercial operators have pulled out after insurers withdrew war-risk coverage, creating a de facto closure. Only a small number of Iranian and Chinese-flagged vessels — many operating outside Western insurance and classification systems — continue to transit.

Asia Most Exposed

Approximately 84% of crude oil and 83% of LNG transiting the Strait in 2024 went to Asian markets, according to the US Energy Information Administration. China, India, Japan, and South Korea alone account for roughly 75% of oil flows through the chokepoint.

A Zero Carbon Analytics report ranks Japan as the most vulnerable nation with a risk score of 6.4, followed by South Korea at 5.3 and India at 4.9. Japan sources 87% of its total energy from imported fossil fuels, while South Korea relies on imports for 81%.

Profit-taking pressure is a threat
The 90-day and 365-day mean coin ages have been trending higher since January. They witnessed a steep drop in December. At the same time, the dormant circulation had also registered 2025’s biggest peak.

The dormant circulation spike in December highlighted a high quantity of ADA tokens moving on-chain, which had previously been dormant for a long time.

The fall in mean coin age showed that tokens of different ages were being moved, likely due to the duress the market faced back then.

Over the past two months, the rising mean coin ages reflected network-wide Cardano accumulation. The dormant circulation was also quiet, agreeing that on-chain coin movements were relatively muted.

At the same time, the short-term holders were nearing breakeven or realizing profits. The 30-day MVRV was at -3.65%, meaning that ADA buyers within the past 30 days were facing a 3.65% loss on average.
