As of mid-March 2026, both coins still hold strong positions in the cryptocurrency market.

XRP is trading near $1.40 to $1.47 at press time. Its total market value is about $80 to $87 billion, which makes it one of the largest cryptocurrencies.

Solana is trading close to $85 to $90. Its market value is about $49 to $50 billion. Even though this is smaller than XRP, it is still among the biggest blockchain networks in the world.

LayerZero’s ZRO token jumped over 11% as trading volume spiked 140%, pushing the price toward a key resistance near $2.28.

Large investors accumulated around 470 million DOGE as network activity surged, with active addresses rising 176% over the past week.

Bitcoin ETFs recorded $201.62M in inflows, extending its inflow streak to six days.

The cryptocurrency market saw major developments through whale accumulation, interest from institutions, and regulatory developments. From LayerZero’s sharp rally and Dogecoin whale activity to XRP reclaiming its market position and institutional moves in the stablecoin sector.
LayerZero’s native token ZRO climbed over 11% in the past 24 hours as trading activity surged across both spot and derivatives markets. 

At the time of writing, the token was trading around $2.21, approaching a key resistance zone near $2.28.

Trading volume surged more than 140%. This high figure indicates renewed interest from traders after several weeks of sideways price movement.

The 90-day Spot Taker Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) continues to reflect dominance of the sell-side. This seems to suggest that aggressive selling orders will continue to outweigh buying pressure in the market.

Recent derivatives activity shows short liquidations of approximately $49,140, compared to long liquidations of around $18,730.

A UK resident has accused his estranged wife of stealing 2,323 Bitcoin from his Trezor hardware wallet in 2023, alleging she used a security camera to capture his seed phrase and wallet access codes.In a court judgment by Justice Cotter, filed in the UK's High Court of Justice last Tuesday, lawyers acting for the claimant, Ping Fai Yuen, alleged that his wife, Fun Yung Li, and her sister covertly recorded him to obtain his seed phrase and transfer $176 million in Bitcoin (BTC) to 71 different addresses. After allegedly being tipped off by his daughter about the plot, Ping installed audio recording equipment and claims he captured Fun discussing the theft and how to move large sums of money without attracting the attention of banks or law enforcement. No transactions have taken place at any of the wallet addresses since Dec. 21, 2023, according to the court documents. Ping reported the alleged theft to the police shortly after the last transfer in December. Law enforcement arrested his wife and confiscated several cold wallets and watches. The move follows several security lapses, where inadequate handling practices led to the loss or theft of digital assets. Under the new guidelines, police must follow clear steps to store and manage crypto assets.

New Rules

These new rules follow multiple incidents. In 2021, Bitcoin was seized and lost because authorities relied on a third-party custodian and did not control the private keys, and in another case, police arrested suspects linked to the stolen crypto from seized wallets. These events showed that existing systems were not strong enough to protect digital assets.

These new frameworks require law enforcement to keep full control of the private keys and use secure methods to store crypto. It also requires following standard procedures during seizure and storage. It also includes rules for handling privacy-focused cryptocurrencies, which are harder to track.

South Korea's government is also increasing oversight. Authorities, including financial regulators, are preparing a comprehensive review of public institutions' management of digital assets. South Korea is strengthening its approach to crypto asset management after costly mistakes.
