The on-chain data points out that the whale wallet, going by “0x978…b67a7,” has withdrawn up to $82M in $ETH from FalconX. As a result, the wallet’s total Ethereum holdings account for 40,000 $ETH. This amount accounts for nearly $82.1M. Keeping this in view, the overall portfolio dashboard presents a -0.45% dip, underscoring wider market fluctuations. Particularly, the transaction pattern is just like that of Bitmine, leading to speculation that Tom Lee, Bitmine’s strategic advisor, is potentially behind the development.

Move Signals Likely Market Impact

According to Arkham Intelligence, the transaction logs point out that the wallet obtained a couple of crucial inflows from the hot wallet of FalconX. They include 20,000 $ETH (equaling $41.04M) and another 20,000 $ETH (accounting for $41.03M). Moreover, a smaller transaction of 0.00488 $ETH ($10) took place before these transactions. A growing number of market commentators are reinforcing the idea that Bitcoin may have already established a cycle bottom at around $60,000.

Crypto analyst Astronomer on X has doubled down on his earlier call, arguing that the $60K region marked a decisive low for Bitcoin, with price action holding firm for over eight weeks despite persistent bearish expectations.

The analyst says his call that Bitcoin bottomed around $60K wasn’t based on just one signal, but several factors lining up. These included Fibonacci levels, mining cost data, and hash ribbon signals, all suggesting a strong support zone near $60K.

He also explained that this level is important because of past market behavior, especially a key price level from October 2021 that previously acted as a major turning point and attracted institutional interest.

According to him, big investors likely helped support prices around this area. Moreover, the current pattern of higher highs and higher lows suggests Bitcoin may now be recovering instead of continuing to fall.

Major crypto tokens such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) have struggled to mount sustainable rallies during the same period, putting additional pressure on firms focused on crypto products.

CoinShares CEO Jean‐Marie Mognetti pushed back against reading too much into the market’s initial reaction. Speaking to Barron’s, he said the company’s US listing was driven by readiness rather than market convenience.

“We are not listing because the market is easy. We are listing because the business is ready, and that’s much more important,” Mognetti said, stressing the company’s long‐term strategy over short‐term share price movements.

Token Surge Followed The Hoax
The scam began with a post from an account pretending to be veterinarian Joe Hollins, the real doctor who has cared for Jonathan on Saint Helena, a British territory in the South Atlantic.

The fake post (below) claimed the tortoise had died and pushed users toward a Solana memecoin tied to the story. Some news outlets initially amplified the false death claim before it was debunked.

Both the Governor of Saint Helena, Nigel Phillips, and the real Joe Hollins subsequently confirmed that Jonathan was still alive.

The setup was simple and fast. A trusted identity was copied, a sad story was posted, and crypto was added to the mix before many users had time to check the facts.

A crypto news site reported that the false account was used to promote donations and token buying, turning a strange animal story into a short-lived trading frenzy.
