Bitcoin’s price has gained nearly 2.7% today, slowly recovering from the Strategy’s $216 million Bitcoin sale earlier this week.

As of now, $BTC is trading above last week’s high and nearing the key $65,543 resistance level. Popular crypto trader Michael van de Poppe believes Bitcoin is gaining strength and doesn’t expect the market to fall from here.

Here’s why.

Bitcoin Recorded A Strong Recovery
The largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, has finally moved back above last week’s price high, and is now trading around $64,410. Popular crypto analyst Michael van de Poppe believes the recent price action shows growing strength.

“There’s more strength coming in on $BTC. That’s a great move, and I don’t expect to see the markets falling here.”

The daily $BTC chart also supports this view.

Looking at it, Bitcoin has bounced from the recent descending trendline and is attempting to reclaim the 100-day moving average, while holding above the $60,876 support zone.

If buyers keep control, the next major target sits around $65,500-$66,000, with a possible move toward the $70,000 level in the next one to two weeks.

As a Layer 1 that powers an entire ecosystem, Solana’s growth story isn’t just about price action or creating value for token holders. It’s also tied to how applications and protocols within its ecosystem perform on-chain, driving network demand, revenue, and overall activity.

The platform recently sold another 122,498 SOL, worth $10.08 million. That brings its total SOL sales to 4,656,826 SOL, valued at $794.8 million, at an average selling price of $170.70.

Evidently, Pump.fun has become one of Solana’s most active trading venues.

Daily Spot Volume has climbed to around $725 million, with more than 517,000 wallets interacting with on-chain DEXs.

Moreover, since the 27th of June, Pump.fun’s revenue has grown 32.2%, while weekly DEX trading volume has increased 57.2% compared with early June.

As one of Solana’s biggest applications, Pump.fun continues to be a major driver of on-chain activity.

Against that backdrop, its latest round of SOL sales quickly grabbed the market’s attention. The move reignited the debate around Pump.fun’s “extraction” narrative, with analysts arguing that the platform is continuously taking value out of the ecosystem rather than recycling it back into Solana.

As a result, some market participants are starting to question Solana’s [SOL] Q3 outlook.

President Donald Trump has refused to sign a bipartisan housing bill until the Senate passes his election overhaul, a standoff that tightens an already narrow window for the CLARITY Act, crypto’s flagship market structure bill.

By elevating the SAVE America Act above all other business, Trump has forced crypto legislation to compete for scarce floor time in the few weeks senators have before their August recess.

A Housing Standoff With Crypto Fallout

Trump canceled the planned signing ceremony for the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, which cleared both chambers by veto-proof, bipartisan margins in June. He tied the decision to the stalled voter bill.

“I will not sign the Housing Bill, which has been fully approved by Congress and sent to the White House, in PROTEST over the fact that the United States Senate is not capable of passing THE SAVE AMERICA ACT…” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The housing measure is set to become law without his signature once the 10-day window closes, so the move works as leverage rather than a veto.

The real cost lands on the Senate calendar. Lawmakers return from the July 4 recess on July 13 to barely three working weeks before the August 8 break, and analysts have already flagged shrinking passage odds as floor time vanishes.

What Still Stands Between CLARITY and a Vote

The Digital Asset Market Clarity Act passed the House 294-134 in July 2025, with more than 70 Democrats crossing over, then cleared the Senate Banking Committee 15-9 in May. It has since waited on the Senate calendar with no floor vote scheduled.

With Republicans holding 53 seats, the bill needs at least seven Democrats to reach the 60-vote threshold that ends debate.
