Renowned Macro Strategist Lyn Alden: “Bitcoin is the Only Way Out of the Current Broken Financial System”
Renowned macrostrategist Lyn Alden, in a recent program, described the current state of the global financial system as a “slow collapse,” detailing how individuals are exploited within this system and why Bitcoin (BTC) is the only real way out of this cycle.

According to Alden, the current fiat currency system, due to its debt-based structure, must either grow or die. He argues that governments and large corporations are “shorting” the system by exploiting its loopholes, while ordinary citizens are on the losing side of this game.

“The wealthy and institutions are shorting money by borrowing at low interest rates and buying scarce assets. The poorest, unable to borrow, are bearing the brunt of inflation as their salaries and savings erode.”

In the section on Bitcoin, Alden describes the historical development of money as an evolution of a “ledger.” He lists the advantages offered by Bitcoin’s digital and decentralized structure in contrast to the physical limitations of gold and silver as follows:

Zero Supply Increase: In a world where emerging market currencies have increased by 20%, developed market currencies by 7%, and gold by 2%, Bitcoin is the only asset that will not experience further supply increases beyond a certain point.

Decentralized Trust: Alden reminds us that Bitcoin is not governed by a “council” or “policymaker,” and the rule set is distributed among all users, stating that no one can “debase” the system (empty the value from the currency) for their own benefit.

Energy-Based Security: Unlike systems where fiat currencies can be multiplied with the snap of a finger (by printing money), Bitcoin production and transfer require real-world energy (Proof of Work).

Charles Schwab is preparing to offer clients direct access to cryptocurrencies, joining a growing group of traditional financial institutions that have moved into digital-asset services.

The firm plans to roll out “Schwab Crypto” through its Premier Bank platform, enabling eligible customers to buy and sell Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) directly, according to disclosures on the company’s website.

Charles Schwab’s New Crypto Service
Charles Schwab’s announcement makes clear that the new offering will not be open to everyone. The firm says not all applicants will qualify, and accounts will be available in every US state except New York and Louisiana.

Company leadership has signaled a cautious, phased approach to the launch. CEO Rick Wurster told investors last month that Schwab will initially support only Bitcoin and Ethereum and is “extremely confident” in the technical work required to integrate crypto trading into its systems.

Charles Schwab’s CEO also described a staged rollout: the exchange will first test the platform internally with employees, then open access to a limited group of customers, and only after that offer the service broadly to its investor base.

Launch Date And Fees Still Unknown
Until now, Charles Schwab investors seeking crypto exposure have had to rely on alternative products available through the broker. The firm already provides access to crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs), crypto-related equities, Bitcoin futures, and listed options tied to spot Bitcoin ETPs.

Schwab Crypto would, if launched as described, mark a move into direct custody-and-trading services for the two largest digital assets. A few details remain unsettled. Schwab has not yet disclosed the exact launch date or the final fee structure for Schwab Crypto.

Charles Schwab, one of the largest brokerage firms in the United States, plans to launch a spot cryptocurrency trading service for Bitcoin and Ethereum in the first half of 2026. The service will be offered through the firm’s banking subsidiary, Charles Schwab Premier Bank, SSB, marking a significant step by a mainstream financial institution into direct crypto spot access.

As of this writing, RENDER traded at $1.91, up 11.23% on the daily charts, adding to its 6% weekly gains. Over the same period, the altcoin’s volume rose 48% to $81.5 million, reflecting increased market participation.

RENDER speculators take hold of the market
While the market continued to suffer from reduced liquidity, RENDER has shown solid strength, consistent with active market participation.

On the derivatives side in particular, RENDER has experienced sustained demand for Futures positions. CoinGlass data showed that altcoin Open Interest rose 21% to $60 million, while derivatives volume climbed 35% to $128 million.

Such a jump in OI and Volume showed increased Futures market participation and steady capital inflows. In fact, over $9 million flowed into the futures positions over the past eight hours as of the 3rd of April.

Meanwhile, the altcoin’s Long/Short Ratio rose to 1.28, signaling a higher demand for long positions. As such, longs accounted for 56%, while shorts accounted for 43% of the total Futures positions.

When longs dominate, it suggests that most participants were bullish and aggressively positioned for more gains.

Profit takers return to the market
With RENDER reaching a three-week high, holders who have been underwater rushed to cash out.

Looking at exchange activity, Spot Netflow turned positive after being negative for two consecutive days. At press time, Netflow was $460k, a significant reversal from -$507 the previous day.

A positive netflow implied that the market saw more sellers than buyers. Such a shift in market behavior has historically weakened the market and led to pullbacks. Thus, extended profit realization could threaten recent gains and cause another slip.
