UniSwap [UNI] has traded within a descending channel since it breached the $4 level a week ago. The altcoin dropped to a low of $3.3 before rebounding slightly, indicating strong downward pressure. 

The altcoin has largely struggled due to a lack of major capital flow. During this period of prolonged weakness, it seems that major investors, especially whales, have stepped back from the market. 

Spot Average Order Size data from CryptoQuant showed both whales and retail have remained extremely calm. This metric has shown neutral order flows, with both major players showing minimal involvement. 
Historically, markets have tended to weaken when large capital holders scale back and sit on the sidelines. Now, it seems some whales are attempting to reenter the market again.

Pendle ($PENDLE) is carving out a critical battle zone around $1.80 as market participants weigh competing signals from price action and derivatives activity.

After a striking run in the past year, the token has settled into a lower range.

Recent price action has been marked by heavy selling pressure alongside intermittent rallies, raising questions about whether steady futures open interest near $31 million could help support a bullish recovery

Since topping out at about $6 in late 2025, Pendle has faced persistent downward pressure and failed to sustain gains above $3.00 once that level was breached.

More recently, price has tested resistance around $2.00 amid renewed buying interest, but has repeatedly struggled to convert those tests into momentum.

Today, the token is hovering near $1.80, a level that has acted as both short-term support and a hurdle during attempted rebounds.

Technically, $1.80 functions as a near-term pivot: a break and hold beneath it would likely expose lower support near $1.40-$1.50.

Meanwhile, a clean rebound could send $PENDLE toward the $2.00 resistance zone.

A decisive recovery above $3.00 remains possible in the short term.

However, bulls would require a sustained increase in buying pressure and volume, with broader market tailwinds coming into play.

Open interest (OI) in Pendle futures is holding around $31 million, a level that speaks to steady participation in derivatives markets even as the spot price struggles.

In derivatives trading, open interest represents the total number of active $PENDLE futures contracts that have not been closed or expired.

Usually, traders tap into the metric to gauge conviction behind price moves.

When open interest remains steady or rises alongside price, it often indicates fresh capital entering the market and supports continuation of the trend.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) faced sharp downside pressure after the asset dropped nearly 12%, with market analysts pointing to increased whale activity and large-scale sell-offs as key drivers behind the decline. The sudden movement sparked renewed volatility across the broader crypto market as traders reacted to heavy selling pressure.

On-chain data suggests that major holders moved significant amounts of BCH to exchanges, often viewed by investors as a signal of potential liquidation activity. The increase in supply entering the market appears to have intensified bearish sentiment, pushing prices lower within a short period.

Traders are also monitoring broader market conditions, including Bitcoin’s price action, macroeconomic uncertainty, and overall crypto liquidity, all of which continue to influence altcoin performance. Analysts note that whale-driven movements can amplify volatility, especially during periods of weaker market confidence.

Despite the correction, some investors believe long-term interest in Bitcoin Cash remains intact due to its established network and payment-focused use case. However, short-term market momentum currently remains under pressure as sellers continue to dominate trading activity.

Technical analysts are watching key support levels closely, warning that additional downside could emerge if selling volume remains elevated in the coming sessions.

PI is up by nearly 2% as bulls attempt to push the price above $0.1500.

The ongoing token unlock could still put further pressure on the coin.

Pi Network (PI) has been one of the worst performers among the leading cryptocurrencies in recent days.

The coin is down 12% in the last seven days, underperforming compared to the broader crypto market. However, it has slightly bounced back after adding 2% to its value since Monday.

PI is now trading at $0.1507 on Tuesday, thanks to the outflows from Centralized Exchanges (CEXs).

Despite that, PI could continue to face selling pressure as the mainnet migration surpasses CEX withdrawals.

Data obtained from PiScan reveals that 2.55 million PI tokens left exchanges over the last 24 hours, a figure that typically signals a surge in buying activity.

While the outflow to CEXs will reduce selling pressure on PI, it is still not enough to absorb the migration tokens.

Migration statistics reveal that 4.36 million PI tokens were transferred from testnet to mainnet on Tuesday, enabling holders to deposit this unlocked supply on CEXs.

This latest development comes after 7.65 million PI tokens were migrated on the previous day.

The PI/USD 4-hour chart remains bearish and efficient despite PI adding 2% to its value in the last 24 hours.

The short-term recovery might not hold as the selling pressure is currently outweighing the demand.

Momentum indicators reinforce this pressure, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) hovering just above oversold territory near 34.

PI’s Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) line on the 4-hour chart also remains slightly negative below the zero line, adding further confluence to the bearish narrative.

If the sellers continue to dominate, PI could drop below the $0.1500 and test the support levels at $0.1440 and $0.1345 in the near term.

Pro-crypto lawyer Bill Morgan has re-ignited discussions on the longstanding debate about XRP decoupling from Bitcoin, invalidating the idea with his new research. 

The crypto veteran has just highlighted a short-term correlation between Bitcoin and XRP price movements, suggesting that the two cryptocurrencies have been moving in similar steps in recent market activity.

Bitcoin and XRP price correlation discussed 

In his statement, Morgan claimed that the correlations between Bitcoin and XRP price movements are growing stronger in recent weeks, backed by the results of a quick data check from an AI tool he used on the matter.

According to Morgan, the data checker showcased a very strong correlation between the two major cryptocurrencies over both weekly and monthly periods.

XRP Real-World Asset Value Hits All-Time High

Notably, the tool estimated a 96% correlation between Bitcoin and XRP over the last week. The data was derived based on the last seven-day crypto trading period leading up to May 19, 2026. 

Moreover, it also showed data over a monthly period, revealing that the correlation has remained strong at about 81% over the last 39 days. 

Apparently, the data suggests that the two assets, Bitcoin and XRP, have continued to share a close alliance in their recent price trajectory amid short-term volatility.
