Multi-Token Products Could Change The Attention Map

The rise of multi-token institutional products is a new variable for XRP.

On one hand, diversified crypto products can help the whole market. They give investors a way to look beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. They make digital assets feel more like an allocation category rather than a single-asset trade. That should be positive for large tokens over time.

On the other hand, the assets included in those products may receive the first wave of attention.

If products emphasise Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, BNB, or other large assets, XRP may have to fight harder for mindshare. Investors who want diversified exposure may not automatically choose XRP unless it is included in the product or has a clear reason to outperform.

That creates a relative-performance issue.

XRP can have a constructive story and still underperform if capital is flowing elsewhere. Traders do not only ask whether an asset is good. They ask whether it is the best opportunity right now.

That is the hurdle XRP is facing.

Activity around Ondo Finance [ONDO] is picking up! This is happening in tandem with its new infrastructure and partnerships, so it looks like good days are ahead.

Here’s the latest.

Ondo Finance’s on-chain activity shoots up
Per Santiment Intelligence, new addresses have increased for three straight days. The metric hit 754 on July 16; that’s about twice the pace seen earlier in the month. Daily active addresses also followed the pattern, going from 1,410 to 2,589 over the same period.

The key inference here, is that new developments have attracted attention to the platform.

Ondo recently launched tokenized stock representations using entitlements generated through DTCC’s tokenization infrastructure. This connects its products more closely with the systems used in traditional US markets.

The company stated that with this, they’re joining a select club of leading TradFi and DeFi firms. Some of the other well known names include BlackRock, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Nasdaq, and the NYSE.

It also partnered with Japan’s SBI Group to bring Japanese equities onchain. The aim is to distribute Ondo products through SBI’s network and explore the use of a yen-backed stablecoin for settlement.

About the same, Ian De Bode, CEO, Ondo Finance, said,

This collaboration creates a path to bring Japanese assets onchain and to connect Japan with the global tokenized economy.

Ethereum’s [$ETH] attempted rebound faced rejection at $1,944 three days ago. The pullback pushed $ETH to $1,819 before it recovered slightly.

At press time, Ethereum traded near $1,823 after falling 3.6% over 24 hours. The decline attracted substantial whale activity, although sellers retained control of the market.

CryptoQuant’s Spot Average Order Size recorded large whale orders for seven consecutive days.

However, the metric captured both buying and selling activity. Therefore, it confirmed whale participation without establishing a clear direction.

Lookonchain also reported that two newly created wallets withdrew 20,000 $ETH from Coinbase Prime. The withdrawal was worth $37.72 million and occurred in two batches of 10,000 $ETH.

According to the tracker, the associated whale had accumulated aggressively during the previous three days.

On the 16th of July, the whale purchased 30,000 $ETH, worth $57.6 million. Its three-day accumulation reached 89,396 $ETH, valued at approximately $164.88 million.

Buying during a decline suggested that the whale expected stronger prices. However, one entity’s activity could not confirm broader confidence.

CoinGlass data showed that Ethereum’s Spot Netflow remained negative for two consecutive days.

At press time, Spot Netflow stood at -$23.6 million, compared with -$49 million the previous day. Therefore, net outflows continued but slowed considerably.

Negative Spot Netflow indicated that more $ETH left exchanges than entered them. This trend aligned with the reported whale withdrawals. Even so, Exchange Outflows alone could not establish that every withdrawal represented accumulation.

Whales absorbed some selling pressure, but Ethereum’s broader structure remained weak.

XRP has entered the fifth and final stage of a multi-wave Elliott Wave pattern that started in late June, currently pointing to several short-term price targets.

85% of concentrated liquidity is underutilized — Meaning for DeFi?significant amount of the liquidity that users contribute to decentralized exchanges isn’t really being used to speed up trades, according to a recent report by Dune.

To put things in perspective, concentrated liquidity was created to increase the capital efficiency of decentralized exchanges. This was done by enabling liquidity providers (LPs) to distribute funds within particular price ranges where trading is most likely to take place.

However, the study discovered that during the first half of 2026, an average of 29.4% of liquidity was outside the range of active trading. Thanks to the same, no trading fees were generated.This amounted to approximately $542 million in idle capital per week and an estimated $150 million in lost annual fee income for liquidity providers across the four protocols.

For context, the 4 protocols included were Uniswap v3, Uniswap v4, PancakeSwap v3, and Aerodrome Slipstream.

Underutilized concentrated liquidity
Considering technically available but never used liquidity, about 85% of capital was underutilized.The fact that more than $200 million in idle liquidity had not been repositioned in more than 90 days may be evidence that many LPs do not actively manage their holdings.

This also suggested that even though concentrated liquidity should increase efficiency, many LPs still find it difficult to maintain their positions in line with market prices.Additionally, the study discovered that automated managers maintained capital activity, while individual investors owned the majority of idle liquidity.

The token has been trading around levels that matter to short-term traders, but the larger Chainlink conversation is not only about price. It is about whether CCIP, data feeds, and institutional integrations can keep moving from announcements into real usage.

That distinction matters. Chainlink has one of the clearest infrastructure narratives in crypto, especially around oracles, tokenization, and cross-chain communication. But infrastructure narratives take time to prove themselves. The market wants adoption, volume, and recurring demand — not just another list of integrations.

For $LINK holders, the current support test is therefore about more than the chart.

The problem for traders is that infrastructure value does not always translate cleanly into token momentum. A new integration can be useful. A major institution can test Chainlink tools. CCIP can expand across ecosystems. But the market still has to decide how much of that activity should be reflected in $LINK’s price.

That is why support levels matter in the short term, but they do not tell the whole story.
