As $TON continued to drop, leveraged longs were hit with massive liquidations. On the 5th of June, $7.66 million worth of longs were liquidated, while the pressure declined to $1 million on the 6th.


Such a massive liquidation suggested traders have been overly bullish, and the price drop forced them out of the market. As a result, this created more selling pressure in the market as traders started to exit.

With fear hitting the market, traders hurriedly closed their positions. In fact, the altcoin’s Open Interest fell 10%, hitting a monthly low of $318 million.

The listing, announced on June 5, provides American investors with a new channel to access the asset through a platform regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). This move comes as crypto companies increasingly seek to establish a presence within the traditional financial system to attract institutional capital.
Bitnomial stands out as one of the few crypto platforms in the U.S. operating as a regulated derivatives market and clearing organization under the direct supervision of the CFTC.
This development makes the TRX listing one of the most significant regulatory milestones for the TRON ecosystem in the American market in recent years.
TRON founder Justin Sun described the initiative as a vital step toward expanding network access through regulated financial infrastructure. According to Sun, institutional investors are increasingly demanding strict adherence to regulatory standards before they commit to increasing their exposure to digital assets.

S&P keeps SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic out of fast index entry



S&P Dow Jones Indices will keep its existing eligibility requirements for benchmarks including the S&P 500, rejecting a rule change that could have allowed newly public megacap companies such as SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic to enter the index faster.

S&P said Thursday it will not grant exceptions to its financial viability, seasoning, and investable weight factor requirements solely based on market capitalization. The decision keeps the S&P 500’s stricter framework in place even as rival index providers move to accelerate inclusion for large listings.

The ruling means SpaceX would not be eligible for S&P 500 inclusion until at least one year after its listing. The company would also need to satisfy the benchmark’s profitability and public float requirements before joining the world’s most heavily tracked stock index.

For SpaceX, the setback removes a potential wall of forced buying from funds that track the S&P 500. Fast inclusion would have generated about $14 billion in passive demand for SpaceX, more than $8 billion for OpenAI, and about $4.6 billion for Anthropic, according to Bloomberg Intelligence estimates.
