Total ecosystem fees climbed to $56 million over the past 24 hours. And yet, this aggregate masks sharp volatility across DEXs, NFTs, and GameFi platforms.

Lending protocols, meanwhile, maintain steadier revenue through persistent borrowing demand. Aave [AAVE] generated $1.62 million in daily fees and $82.14 million over 30 days. At the same time, its $32.4 billion TVL is anchoring liquidity across major lending markets.

Morpho is continuing to expand with about $2.3 million in weekly fees and $7 billion in TVL. Maple Finance has also strengthened institutional credit through real-world asset lending. These models rely on utilization rather than speculative trading volume.

Utilization levels reinforce this stability. Right now, Aave’s stablecoin markets hold near 60%, while Morpho vaults often exceed 85%. As speculative sectors fluctuate, on-chain credit increasingly stands out as DeFi’s most durable revenue engine.

Aave’s lending model delivers consistent revenue
Aave has demonstrated strong and consistent revenue generation across market cycles. In fact, the monthly revenue reached $13.4 million in February – Indicative of 31% growth month over month. At the same time, year-over-year expansion climbed by roughly 38%.

Previous months showed moderate fluctuations, with revenue dipping near $5 million before steadily rising above $15 million in late 2025. Meanwhile, the cumulative revenue curve has been hiking consistently, highlighting persistent fee generation across the protocol.

Over the trailing twelve months, revenue approached roughly $145 million too.

The PI Network price is suddenly back on traders’ radar this weekend. Not because it exploded into a massive rally but because something subtler is happening beneath the surface: volume is quietly heating up.

And in crypto markets, rising volume during a price recovery tends to get people paying attention. According to data from CryptoQuant’s spot volume bubble map, trading activity has started climbing alongside the recent PI/USD move. Now, before anyone starts screaming “breakout,” there’s a catch. The indicator still labels the current volume environment as neutral.

Oddly enough, that’s not bad news. Neutral volume during a rising price trend often hints that accumulation might still be underway rather than a full-blown speculative frenzy.

Take a closer look at the volume map and the pattern becomes clearer. The bubbles tracking spot activity have been gradually expanding, signaling a rise in trading interest. But they’re not glowing red-hot or light orange yet. In other words, momentum hasn’t strengthened yet and to reach peak speculation territory it needs some more efforts to do it.

For long-term watchers of the PI Network price chart, that distinction matters. If volume remains controlled while price edges upward, it can suggest investors are slowly building positions rather than chasing a short-term pump.

Analyst insights suggest a strategic "sweep" of the lower liquidity cluster may be imminent. From a professional standpoint, if SOL drops to test the $78–$80 range, it could trigger a "liquidity grab," flushing out late sellers and providing the necessary fuel for a bullish reversal.
If Solana successfully absorbs the selling pressure within this lower cluster, the prediction leans toward a rally back toward the $95 threshold. However, failure to hold the $78 support could signal a deeper retracement. Investors should keep a close eye on these boundaries, as a decisive breakout from this range will likely dictate Solana's momentum for the remainder of the quarter.

Kazakhstan’s central bank will soon begin investing up to $350 million from its gold and foreign exchange reserves into cryptocurrency assets and related companies, as part of its broader digital assets strategy.

On Friday, Reuters reported that the National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK) has formed a portfolio of up to $350 million from its gold and foreign exchange reserves ‌for investment in digital assets.

As of February 1, Kazakhstan’s central bank held $69.40 billion in gold and foreign exchange reserves, while the assets of the national fund amounted to $65.23 billion, the news media outlet noted.

At a briefing on interest rates, the central bank governor, Timur Suleimanov, affirmed that the financial authority is developing a list of instruments to invest in, which will include crypto-related companies.

“These include shares of high-tech companies related to cryptocurrencies and digital financial assets, index funds and other instruments that exhibit similar dynamics to crypto assets,” Suleimanov explained.

Meanwhile, Central Bank Deputy Chair Aliya Moldabekova shared that the investments will begin between April and May. She added that there are no plans to make any large investments directly in digital assets, but in companies that deal with them.

“We are not talking about any large investment in cryptocurrencies. We are currently selecting companies that deal with digital assets. For example, those ⁠involved in cryptocurrency infrastructure. We are currently in the process of selecting such companies,” Moldabekova said.

The central bank’s initiative follows Kazakhstan’s plan to establish a national digital asset reserve fund valued between $500 million and $1 billion, primarily comprised of assets seized and repatriated from abroad.
