According to data from XRPScan, the fixCleanup3_1_3 amendment is set to activate in a few days, with the current countdown being 9 days 16 hours.

"fixCleanup3_1_3" represents the fix amendment in XRPL 3.1.3, which is now in a 2-week activation period with an expected timeline of May 27, 2026.

On May 8, the $XRP Ledger Foundation announced the release of the latest $XRP Ledger software, XRPL 3.1.3, which included one default-yes fix amendment. This needed no manual voting, with upgrading alone being enough.

The fixCleanup3_1_3 amendment included in the XRPL version 3.1.3 is a collection of fixes for NFTs, Permissioned Domains, Vaults, and the Lending Protocol.

As the fix amendment in XRPL 3.1.3 enters a 2-week activation period, $XRP Ledger validators are urged to update their $XRP Ledger nodes to 3.1.3 to prevent amendment blocking and service interruption for users.

In the past 24 hours, the crypto market witnessed $650.35 million in liquidations. Of these, $622.85 million were long liquidations. These forced long closures added to the downward pressure.

Bitcoin [$BTC] saw $205 million in liquidations after losing 3.14% in 24 hours. The move came as a slight surprise after $BTC bounced from the $78.9k support level on Wednesday, the 13th of May. It could only reach as high as $82k before sliding lower.

The recent Bitcoin selling has impacted altcoin market confidence and resulted in market-wide losses. Stable [$STABLE] was down 18.7% in the past 24 hours. Earlier in the week, it had looked as if it had breached a range formation it had been trading within since February.In the final week of April, AMBCrypto had reported that $STABLE was trading within a range formation that reached from $0.024 to $0.039. On Tuesday, the 12th of May, a daily session close at $0.04, above the range highs, confirming a breakout.

This move didn’t last. After a sweep of the $0.044 liquidity pocket, the bears seized control, enforcing the rapid losses in recent days.

The 1-hour chart showed heavy bearish momentum and selling pressure. The A/D indicator and the Awesome Oscillator were plunging lower in the past 24 hours to reflect this.

Meanwhile, the Money Flow Index presented a bullish divergence. The price made lower lows while the indicator made higher lows.

By itself, it does not make a strong argument for a potential price bounce. However, two other factors help this idea.

The first is that the divergence comes alongside a test of the mid-range support. This could see a bounce to the $0.037-$0.038 local resistance, which had been a support area in recent days.

The second factor was the cluster of long liquidations around $0.03. It is possible that a sweep of this strong magnetic zone could see

The repurchase initiative targets almost half of the entity’s previously issued 0% convertible senior notes due in 2029. Strategy intends to fund the transaction through a combination of existing cash reserves, proceeds from its at-the-market equity offering program, and, if necessary, selective Bitcoin sales.

Meanwhile, this move comes as the company continues to intensify its long-term conviction in Bitcoin despite ongoing market volatility. Over the past several years, Strategy has transformed itself from a traditional software-focused company into what many investors now view as a leveraged Bitcoin holding vehicle.

The convertible notes in question were initially issued in November 2024 as part of a broader financing strategy designed to expand the company’s Bitcoin treasury. The debt carried a 0% coupon rate and had a total notional size of roughly $3 billion. The notes are scheduled to mature in December 2029 and include a conversion price tied to the company’s stock performance.

However, with market conditions having shifted significantly since the debt’s issuance, Strategy now appears focused on optimizing its balance sheet and reducing future liabilities. Reports indicate the company expects to pay approximately $1.38 billion in cash to repurchase the notes, representing a discount to their original face value.

Additionally, analysts view the transaction as a strategic financial maneuver that could provide the firm with greater flexibility moving forward.

Analyst maps bullish structure

Crypto Patel said $ZEC had formed a bullish structure after reacting from a weekly fair value gap. The analyst pointed to a market structure shift, a pullback into a discount zone, and buy-side liquidity above price.

He listed upside targets at $643 and $750, while placing invalidation at a one-day close below $294. The view was technical only and called for confirmation before any entry, meaning the setup remains conditional rather than confirmed.

Nevertheless, experts say the model may still evolve. Some argue that protection should be embedded directly into DeFi products instead of sold as a separate option. Others prefer narrower policies that cover specific risks, while some see room for traditional insurers to enter the market.
