Onchain data showed transfers from cryptocurrency wallets known to be in the possession of the US government.According to onchain analyst Onchain Lens, a US government-controlled wallet deposited 2,466 $UNI (worth $8,410), 152,925 $CRO (worth $10,689), and 1,589 $LINK (worth $15,703) into Coinbase Prime approximately six hours ago.

Bitcoin Rallies, But Traders Still Realizing $479M In Losses Daily
 On-chain data shows the Bitcoin Realized Loss indicator has remained elevated even after the latest surge in the cryptocurrency’s price.

Bitcoin Realized Loss Has Stood At $479M Per Day Recently
In its latest weekly report, on-chain analytics firm Glassnode has discussed the latest trend in the Realized Loss for the Bitcoin network. The “Realized Loss” here refers to an indicator that measures, as its name suggests, the total amount of loss that BTC investors as a whole are realizing through their transactions.

The metric works by going through the transfer history of each token being moved to see what price it was transacted at prior to this. If the last selling price was less than the latest one for any token, then that particular token’s sale can be considered to be leading to the realization of some net loss.

The exact degree of loss involved in the transfer is equal to the difference between the two prices. The Realized Loss calculates the sum of this difference for all loss transactions occurring on the blockchain. A counterpart indicator called the Realized Profit takes care of the transfers of the opposite type.

Now, here is the chart shared by Glassnode that shows the trend in the 14-day simple moving average (SMA) of the Bitcoin Realized Loss over the last few years:
As displayed in the above graph, the 14-day SMA of the Bitcoin Realized Loss witnessed massive spikes as the cryptocurrency saw price crashes in November and February.
Currently, the Realized Profit is sitting at $479 million per day, approximately 140% above the $200 million baseline that has generally been seen during stable phases in this Bitcoin cycle.

The price of gold rises by 5% in less than three days thanks to massive purchases



In recent days the price of gold has been rising.

On Monday it hit a weekly local low at $4,510 per ounce, but today it is already at $4,740.

This is a 5% increase in less than three days, which is not exactly common for gold.

The fact is that behind this rebound there are massive purchases.

Gold purchases

The ones buying gold in recent days have mainly been the whales on the financial markets.

The gold that is bought on financial markets is actually not physical gold, but derivative financial products that replicate the price performance of the commodity.

Taking as a reference for example the market for futures, where many institutional whales operate, there appear to have been large purchases starting on Tuesday.

In fact, on Monday, while the price was falling and hitting this week’s local low, there were mainly sales, also because last week there had been some purchases in particular around $4,550 per ounce.

To tell the truth, even on Tuesday, when the US markets reopened, there were still some small sales, but after about an hour the buying started.

At first they were actually very few, almost irrelevant, but as soon as the price climbed back above $4,670 they multiplied.

Between yesterday and the day before yesterday most of the purchases were made below $4,710 per ounce, and today, despite the rise to $4,740, for now there are still no massive sales to be seen.

The short-term trend

It should be noted, however, that this trend is probably only a short-term mini bullish trend, similar to last week’s that then resulted in Monday’s sales.

In addition to this short-term rising mini-trend, which alternates with other short-term descending mini-trends, it is also possible to identify some others that are longer, and therefore more solid.

She confirmed that tokenized assets in the U.S. have more than doubled in market capitalization over the past year. It is reaching approximately $25 billion. Federal Reserve news today carries real weight for the RWA tokenization sector, and Cook did not hold back on either the opportunity or the risk.

The Opportunity Cook Sees

Cook opened with genuine enthusiasm for the technology. Tokenization, in her framing, is not a threat to traditional finance; it is an upgrade layer sitting on top of it. “I do not see tokenization as replacing traditional market infrastructure,” she said. “The technology presents a tremendous opportunity for innovation in the sector.”

The specific benefits she highlighted are already playing out in institutional markets. Smart contracts enable automated settlement across multi-leg transactions. It reduces the time gap between trading and settlement. Tokenized money market funds allow intraday investment and redemption, improving returns on idle cash. Repo transactions executed on-chain can provide same-day liquidity that overnight processes currently cannot match.
