Data from CoinGlass showed $56.25K worth of FARTCOIN moved into exchanges over the past 24 hours. This hinted that some participants may be preparing to take profits after the recent move.

However, derivatives positioning told a slightly different story. The Exchange Liquidation Map showed key levels at $0.204 and $0.22.

At these levels, traders held $1.81 million in long positions and $1.02 million in short positions. This imbalance suggested bulls still held the upper hand in the short term.

Hyperliquid Price Slips amid Altcoin Weakness and HYPE Volume Dip


Hyperliquid ($HYPE) token declined over the past 24 hours, after it fell 1.56% to trade at $44.02. The drop came as the global crypto market showed slight weakness.

Major cryptos, including Bitcoin, remained relatively stable, yet altcoins faced mild selling pressure. Hyperliquid moved in line with this trend and underperformed the wider market.

Hyperliquid ($HYPE) Dips

The overall crypto market cap slipped slightly during the same period. Altcoins tend to yield significantly less returns compared to larger assets under such conditions. This is how Hyperliquid did as well — a symptom of the overall mood more than a flaw in the project. There was no big project-related announcement that might have explained the decline. The lack of a new catalyst exposed the price to market changes. That said, activity in trading weakened.

Volume contracted more than 10% to about $376 million. This implied further reduced traders participation and near-term interest. Volume declines also suggested that much of the sell-off wasn’t strong on conviction. It did not signal panic selling or massive outs. Instead, it was a slow-turning sign after recent gains. Hyperliquid still managed to register an increase of about 15% over the past week – suggesting the greater direction was positive.

In the short term, price levels will continue to matter. The token remains above the $42 support range (the holding level of the token). Traders are watching this level closely. If it lasts, a rebound in the $48 range is still a possibility. The recovery would further be bolstered with a move back above $46 and heavier volume. And if this support fails, there are risks. A break below $42 might lead the price to a level approaching $38. That represents more correction to the general trend forward in that direction.

Bitcoin has approached $75,000 as on-chain data shows the whale-sized investors have pushed their supply to the highest point since mid-February.

Bitcoin Whale Holdings Have Crossed 4.25 Million $BTC

In a new post on X, on-chain analytics firm Santiment has talked about the latest trend in the Bitcoin whale supply. “Whales” typically refer to investors holding between 1,000 and 10,000 tokens of the cryptocurrency.

At the current exchange rate, this range converts to $74.5 million at the lower end and $745 million at the upper end. Thus, the only holders who would qualify for the cohort would be those with a substantial amount of capital invested in the asset.

Given their massive size, whale entities can hold some degree of influence in the market. As such, their behavior can often be worth keeping an eye on. Below is the chart shared by Santiment that shows the data for the combined supply held by investors of this size, which can act as a proxy for their behavior.

From the graph, it’s visible that the Bitcoin whale supply witnessed a decline earlier, indicating large investors were participating in distribution. Since bottoming out in mid-March, however, the metric has seen an upward reversal.

The uptrend accelerated during this weekend, with whale-sized wallets scooping up 27,652 $BTC (worth more than $2 billion) on Sunday alone. The fresh accumulation has meant that the whale supply has returned to 4.25 million $BTC, which is the highest value of the metric since mid-February.

A Bitcoin rally back toward the $75,000 level has followed the whale expansion, so it’s possible that buying from these humongous investors helped provide fuel for the surge.

Whale behavior could now be monitored as what this group will do next could further impact the cryptocurrency’s price. The recent trend has

At press time, the $LDO price has surged over 17% in the past 24 hours, with trading volume jumping 129% to reach $100 million. Notably, activity and tightening of supply are also increasing.

Decoding $LDO’s price rally

Aggressive buys, as indicated by the daily trading volume spike, drove the rally. Moreover, activity and fundamentals contributed to the sentiment around $LDO, leading to increased speculative trading.

Notably, the DAO has grown significantly, with Lido Finance surpassing Rocket Pool to become Ethereum’s top permissionless staking solution. The number of active validators has now surpassed 100, slightly ahead of Rocket Pool’s count.
Additionally, through a vote, the DAO passed their second buyback program proposal for $LDO tokens. The plan involves acquiring $LDO worth 10,000 $ETH in 1,000 $ETH increments.

Moreover, the Transfer Amount rose from 11.77 million $LDO to 48.59 million $LDO. This was more than a 4x increase in 24 hours, while Transfer Count nearly tripled from 641 to 1841. Such growth indicated growing network activity on the staking solution.
Currently, $LDO is the largest permissionless staking solution for $ETH in terms of the number of active validators and the $ETH market cap. Its staked $ETH market cap was $22.44 billion, followed by Kelp DAO and Rocket Pool at $1.62 billion and $932 million, respectively.

While most of the metrics were bullish on $LDO presently, the price action did not have a defined directional bias.

Can $LDO sustain the breakout?

The charts showed that $LDO had printed a double bottom pattern, and price action had broken above the neckline at $0.3366. The altcoin has been trading between the neckline and the bottom at around $0.2725.
