The daily chart showed that AKT broke above a multi-month wedge consolidation pattern. The pattern formed in May 2025 when most altcoins rallied but AKT moved sideways.

At the time of writing, buyers appeared dominant. The Bull Bear Power indicator turned positive, with a reading of 0.144. That value exceeded levels recorded during the brief uptrend seen in early 2026.

Even three days after the BME proposal surfaced, social sentiment continued rising. Sentiment readings reached 82%.

Community sentiment stood even higher. CoinMarketCap data showed 91% bullish votes from participants

If the breakout is sustained, AKT price may trend toward the top of the wedge at the $2 level. However, the most likely target sat at $1, but only if the $0.60 zone is obliterated. Still, that did guarantee uptrend continuation

Bitcoin Skeptic Peter Schiff Speaks Out After Today’s BTC Rally: “Dead Cat Bounce”


After Bitcoin’s price surged during the day, approaching the $74,000 level, investor and economist Peter Schiff, long known for his anti-Bitcoin views, offered his assessment of the recent market movements.

Schiff argued that the rise in Bitcoin did not signal a permanent trend reversal, suggesting it was merely a temporary reaction. The renowned economist described the movement in Bitcoin as a “dead cat bounce,” while also suggesting that the simultaneous pullback in gold prices could be a misleading signal for investors. According to Schiff, some investors misinterpreted these developments, buying Bitcoin and selling gold.

Schiff noted that experienced investors follow a different strategy, describing them as “smart money” investors who view rises in BTC as selling opportunities and pullbacks in gold as buying opportunities. Schiff argued that a more sensible approach for investors might be to sell on Bitcoin rallies and buy on gold rallies.

Schiff also shared his views on the US economy in his statements. Recalling that the economy grew by 2.1% in 2025, the first year of US President Donald Trump’s term, Schiff argued that this was below the growth rates of the previous administration. According to Schiff, while growth was at 2.8% in 2024, the performance in 2025 was weaker.

Institutional capital deepens Bitcoin’s supply compression



Bitcoin’s declining exchange supply has already signaled tightening liquidity. Institutional flows simply deepen that trend though. In fact, since January 2024, Spot Bitcoin ETFs have attracted approximately $56 billion in cumulative inflows, according to Farside data

.

With Bitcoin trading near $71,000 at press time, even modest inflows remove hundreds of BTC from circulation. Daily demand often surpasses the fixed 450 BTC miner issuance, steadily tightening available supply.

According to CryptoQuant, ETF custodians now hold about 1.3 million BTC, roughly 6.7% of the circulating supply – Underscoring sustained institutional accumulation.



On-chain behavior seemed to be complementing this trend too.

Long-Term Holder supply stands near 14.43 million BTC, close to cycle highs, while dormant bands from six to twelve months have continued to expand. Such conviction historically compresses liquid inventory, creating scarcity conditions that often precede strong Bitcoin rallies.

The next wave of crypto adoption is not coming from retail. XRP says it is coming from the CFO's office.

On March 12, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse highlighted the work of Ripple Treasury SVP Renaat Ver Eecke, who has been focused on one specific thesis: corporate finance teams are the next major driver of crypto adoption.

Ver Eecke posted on X that the office of the CFO is waking up to what digital assets and stablecoins can actually do beyond price speculation, pointing to treasury operations, vendor payments, and payroll as the real use cases now being explored by enterprises.

This is about Fortune 500 finance departments quietly stress-testing whether they can run parts of their operations on blockchain rails.

Ripple is positioning XRP and its payments infrastructure directly in that lane. Ver Eecke also called out Mastercard's Crypto Partner Program, which Ripple is part of alongside Circle, PayPal, and Gemini, as exactly the kind of institutional framework needed to prove enterprise stability and push blockchain adoption into the next phase.

Ripple separately stated that digital assets are moving from experimentation to real-world use, and that connecting onchain innovation with trusted global payments infrastructure requires the whole ecosystem to move together. That is not marketing language. Let's take a look at the XRP chart now.
