High Roller stock more than doubles on prediction markets partnership with Crypto.com

High Roller Technologies Inc. (ROLR) stock more than doubled after the online casino operator said it planned to introduce an event-based prediction market in the U.S. in conjunction with Crypto.com.

The Las Vegas-based company said Tuesday it will initially offer its customers Crypto.com Derivatives North America (CDNA) event contracts in the U.S. across finance, sports and entertainment. CDNA is a CFTC-registered exchange and clearinghouse and affiliate of Crypto.com. It didn't say when the planned market would start operating.

ETH staking surge tightens supply as liquid availability declines

Ethereum’s supply structure is tightening through steady staking growth, gradually reshaping market dynamics beneath the surface.

According to CryptoQuant data, the staking ratio rose to 32.1%, with nearly 39 million ETH moving into validators, signaling a clear shift toward long-term holding. This occurs because participants seek yield and network participation as volatility stabilizes.As staking expands, Exchange Reserves have declined to around 14.9 million ETH, reducing the liquid supply available for selling.

This contraction limits immediate downside pressure, which helps the price remain stable even during weaker sentiment phases. Meanwhile, validator growth persists across cycles, reinforcing confidence in Ethereum’s long-term utility.

This creates a structural squeeze, where reduced supply increases sensitivity to demand, potentially amplifying upside if inflows strengthen.

However, despite the bounce, the asset remains down roughly 41% since setting its $126,080 all-time high last October.Meanwhile, Nikita Bier, X’s head of product, hinted that the Elon Musk-owned social media giant could roll out a new product aimed at revitalizing the crypto market following a challenging year for the industry.“Crypto has had a rough year. Maybe we should launch something to fix it,” Bier wrote in an April 14 post, which has since garnered more than 30,000 likes at press time.It remains unclear what “something” refers to, as Nikita Bier did not provide additional details. However, speculation suggests it could be linked to X Money, a payments feature integrated into X that is expected to support peer-to-peer transfers, digital wallets, and a broader suite of financial tools.Centibillionaire Musk has confirmed that early access to X Money will roll out this month following the completion of internal testing and an external beta phase.Comparable to services like Venmo or PayPal, X Money is expected to advance Elon Musk’s vision of transforming X into an “everything app.” The platform is designed to support peer-to-peer transfers, bank deposits, a debit card, and cashback rewards, and is being developed in partnership with Visa alongside a licensed subsidiary operating across more than 40 U.S. states.Crypto integration is not currently part of the rollout.
