Allen Konevsky, Chairman and Chief Executive of tZERO Group, one of only two firms to hold a special purpose broker-dealer licence from the US Securities and Exchange Commission, has said he has a long-term bias toward tokens that function as infrastructure ingredients rather than stores of value, singling out $XRP and Ether as assets better suited to the future of tokenized capital markets than Bitcoin.

A new $XRP Ledger (XRPL) upgrade is on the horizon, with the potential to prop up $XRP prices in the coming weeks as validators continue to vote.

The proposal, which was delayed for several months after developers identified a critical vulnerability in the original Batch implementation, introduces batch transactions, confidential transfers, sponsored fees, as well as permission delegation.

There is no fixed deadline for the vote, meaning activation will occur only if the required consensus is reached. However, analysts are already seizing the opportunity to set new $XRP price targets, as the crypto currency has started to rally again.

XRP has gained more than 4% over the past 24 hours, climbing to $1.13 on July 21 and leaving traders watching for signs of a broader breakout. The latest rally comes as $XRP continues to consolidate within a short-term symmetrical triangle, a technical pattern that often precedes a sharp move.

Accordingly, crypto analyst Ali Martinez notes that a sustained break above $1.13 could trigger a rally of roughly 20%, with the next upside target near $1.35. If validators continue voting in favor of the new update, the changes on the Ledger could support the break and allow the asset to sustain the level in question.

$1.13 is the level I'm watching on $XRP.

A decisive breakout above it could confirm the bullish breakout and open the door for further upside.

On the more bullish end, analyst Celal Kucuker sees $XRP hitting a new all-time high target just above $6 by the end of the year. His thesis hinges more on the CLARITY Act, which, if passed, could greatly benefit $XRP, positioning it as a strong contender in the bull market.

Technically, Ripple first real ATH target is just above $6.

If the CLARITY Act passes, $XRP could benefit just as much as Ethereum

That would make $XRP one of the strongest bull market contenders.

Ripple News: XRP Ledger v3.2.0 Validator Adoption Hits 66% As Fix Amendment Advances
Ripple-backed $XRP Ledger’s newest software update is starting to roll out as The number of validators upgrading to v3.2.0 is increasing. According to the recent XRPL Explorer data, 66% of the trusted validators are running the release. The migration progresses while the network is getting ready for the amendment, called fixCleanup3_2_0.
As per the upgrade tracker, there are now 99 validators running v3.2.0. This is 66% of the validator set. It also reveals 481 nodes (57.33%) are running the latest version. However, there is still significant use of older software. Version 3.1.3 is still on 42 validators, representing 28% of the total. It also has 322 nodes that are powered, representing 38.38% of all 825 nodes.

The XRP Ledger has a very critical amendment process. They must be supported by over 80% of the trusted validators. That support should not change during 2 consecutive weeks. The new statistics indicate the network is still short of that. To reach the threshold, another 25 percentage points of additional adoption are needed for v3.2.0.

XRP Ledger version 3.2.0 includes a number of technical enhancements as it covers infrastructure improvements. It is also packed with fixes and developer enhancements. There is one major change via XLS-0095.

The proposal officially changes the name of the server software from rippled to xrpld. The rollout started on June 15. The configuration paths need to be updated for validators and node operators. They also need to update deployment scripts, metadata references, and database directories.

After breaking out of a daily chart’s triangle pattern on the 15th of July, $ONDO appears to be shifting the market structure. The consolidation pattern has played out over the last two and a half months.

The breakout was initiated following a triple touch at the $0.30 support level.

Currently, the altcoin is forming a potential higher low (HL) at $0.34 but will be confirmed only if the altcoin’s daily candle closes above $0.40.

The MACD is also green, indicating a shift to bulls’ control. Moreover, the RSI Divergence indicator is at 64.71, reinforcing the buying activity. The two readings suggest further uptrend continuation, but hurdles exist.

These price hurdles are at $0.40 and $0.44, which were inside the triangle. Further resistance was at $0.48, which was the top of the triangle pattern.

The massive backing from the entities that are buying shows that bulls are likely to break these levels. Otherwise, if this prediction is not met, $ONDO may fall to $0.34 or $0.30, where the upside move began.
