Ethereum's ambitious plan to reinvent itself over the next several years is getting an enthusiastic reception from many of the network's researchers, though several say the biggest challenge won't be deciding what to build, but how quickly it can happen.

Earlier last week, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin published an updated version of the "Lean Ethereum" strawmap, a long-term vision that would overhaul nearly every major part of the blockchain. The strawmap was originally published in February. Buterin's updated proposal calls for sweeping changes aimed at making Ethereum faster, cheaper to run, more private and resistant to future threats such as quantum computers.

Hyperliquid price outlook: Why HYPE could reach $100



Hyperliquid (HYPE) is trading less than 10% below its all-time high.

Hyperliquid open positions recently reached a record 305,508.

Technical charts project a possible move toward $100.

Hyperliquid HYPE continues to trade close to its all-time high after posting strong gains over the past month.

The token was trading at around $69.84 on July 6, leaving it about 9.6% below its record high of $76.87, which was reached on June 16.

Over the past seven days, HYPE has gained 11.5%, while its 30-day performance stands at 18.2%, highlighting sustained buying interest despite periods of market volatility.

Record trading activity strengthens the bullish picture

One of the strongest signals supporting HYPE's recent momentum is the sharp increase in trader participation on Hyperliquid.

HYPE’s trading volume reached nearly $393 million over the previous 24 hours, while the protocol's total value locked (TVL) stands at approximately $5.86 billion according to DefiLlama, reflecting the amount of capital committed to the decentralised trading platform.

​Financial and Tax Accountability: If an exchange takes the authority to eliminate a user’s property, are they not legally obligated to provide a formal financial ledger or an official "loss certificate"? How can a user account for these deleted assets in their official tax filings or financial records without a formal transaction history?
​In international finance, no private company can permanently clear an asset without providing a legal financial record or compensating the owner. To do so without a trace creates severe compliance and transparency risks.

According to The Block, Bernstein analysts stated in their latest report that Bitcoin has fallen 54% from its peak of $126,000, but this correction is significantly milder compared to the 75% to 90% drops seen in past bear markets.

Ripple completes MiCA licensing as EU enters post-transition eraRipple has secured full authorization under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets [MiCA] framework. This completes the regulatory process needed to offer its crypto-asset services across the European Economic Area [EEA].

The approval comes days after the EU’s MiCA transition period ended on July 1, positioning Ripple among the firms entering the bloc’s post-transition regulatory regime with full compliance. The license enables the company to expand its regulated crypto payments offering across all 30 EEA countries.Ripple completes MiCA approval process
Ripple said Luxembourg’s financial regulator, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier [CSSF], granted its Crypto-Asset Service Provider [CASP] authorization, following the preliminary approval the company announced in June.The company said the license completes its MiCA requirements, allowing its regulated crypto payments product to serve financial institutions, corporates, and businesses throughout the European Economic Area under a single regulatory framework.

“This CASP authorisation means Ripple enters the post-transitional MiCA era fully compliant and ready to scale,” Cassie Craddock, Ripple’s Managing Director for the UK and Europe, said in the announcement. She added that financial institutions across Europe are seeking regulated partners as they expand their digital asset services
