That is noteworthy given that as of now, the Bitcoin price remains below previous cycle highs. In other words, the majority of investors appear to be increasing their holdings, rather than selling them.LTH supply did decline in earlier cycles when Bitcoin's price rose rapidly and holders were taking profits. However, the current trend tells a different story. Long-term investor-held supply increased through most of 2025 and into 2026 as volatility persisted and more coins went into dormant wallets.

Still, although demand still drives market direction, the expanding long-term holder base continues strengthening Bitcoin's supply floor and reinforcing broader market resilience

Following a wave of heavy selling in the cryptocurrency market, $XRP is attempting to stabilize near the $1.10 mark, aiming to form a short-term bottom after what is described as one of the major pullbacks of 2026. The asset, having dipped below major support lines and exited a multi-month trading range, continues to face downward pressure despite some signs of recovery.

Key levels to watch in $XRP
$XRP recently lost its $1.28 support level, which had served as a key floor for most of March, April, and May. This breakdown accelerated selling, dragging the price down to recent lows around $1.05. Despite a brief rebound, the recovery was limited, indicating that market participants remain cautious even as the price attempts to rally.

Technical indicators reveal that significant resistance areas remain above the current price. The 50-day moving average stands at $1.20, while the 100- and 200-day averages are positioned at $1.28 and $1.35 respectively, reflecting an ongoing advantage for sellers in the broader trend. For a more meaningful turnaround, analysts note that $XRP would need to reclaim these levels as new support zones.

Trading volume has shown a more balanced signal. There was a notable spike in volume during the initial breakdown, suggesting that much of the selling may have played out during that phase. As panicked selling has eased, volumes have gradually returned to normal, while the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is now attempting an upward move after exiting oversold territory.

While the downward momentum in $XRP has waned compared to the first wave of selling, this alone does not confirm a lasting trend reversal.

Thailand Expands $307M Crypto Mining Probe as Chinese Financiers Face ArrestsRigs Seized and Power Stolen Thai authorities have expanded an investigation into illegal cryptocurrency mining networks allegedly run by Chinese financiers that laundered more than $300 million (10 billion baht) annually through illicit cash operations. The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) announced that the transnational network utilized a complex financial web to funnel money from online gambling, call center scams and cyber fraud.

The move follows a series of raids in 2025 by the DSI's Technology and Cyber Crime Bureau, which dismantled three major syndicates. At the time, investigators seized more than 6,390 crypto-mining rigs. According to a local report, the operations stole nearly $29 million worth of electricity from the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), making it one of the largest state utility thefts in Thailand's recent history.

The probe has also ensnared local officials. The DSI has forwarded two cases to the National Anti-Corruption Commission targeting seven electricity authority workers, one law enforcement officer, and 13 investors and suspected accomplices accused of facilitating the operation.

According to investigators, the profits from these tech crimes were laundered through corporate entities and bank accounts experiencing unusually high volumes of cash flow. To move the assets, the network allegedly hired Myanmar nationals to make daily cash withdrawals from Thai banks ranging from $910,000 to $1.5 million per day, totaling at least $307 million a year.

Bitcoin could be setting up for another lower high before making a final move lower to complete its cycle bottom, according to crypto analyst Ted.

In a post on X, the analyst said $BTC appears likely to form another lower high, a pattern that would keep the broader downtrend intact. The charts show Bitcoin repeatedly failing to reclaim resistance near the $75,000 area while support from an ascending trend line has weakened.On the two-day chart, $BTC has broken below both the rising trend line and a key horizontal support level around $75,000. Meanwhile, the 12-hour chart outlines a possible recovery attempt that could result in a lower high beneath resistance before sellers regain control.

According to Ted, such a move could set the stage for one more sharp decline, potentially forming the cycle bottom. However, the bearish outlook would weaken if Bitcoin manages to reclaim the resistance zone and establish higher highs.

For now, traders are watching whether the expected lower high develops or if buyers can invalidate the bearish structure with a stronger recovery.
