Many of TRON Network’s [TRX] metrics have grown consistently this year, making TRX one of the more interesting assets to watch.

However, the mood is not fully bullish yet. Here’s why…

Monthly transactions increased from around 341 million in January to 376 million in May. Put simply, activity on the chain has not slowed down so far.
The user side seemed to be strong too. Average daily active users moved from nearly 3.2 million to 4.4 million. The main point here is that there’s been real usage, and it’s not just price interest.

The market cap also rose from about $27 billion to $33 billion over the same period. A big reason for this strength may be TRON’s role in low-cost, fast stablecoin transfers.

AMBCrypto previously reported that Tron Inc. has also been adding to its TRX treasury, buying 1.2 million TRX in June alone. In fact, total holdings are now above 700.4 million TRX. The buying happened during weakness, which means that demand has not fully dried up.

Market participants have increased their bets on a potential rate hike following the Fed’s latest policy signals, creating additional pressure on risk assets such as cryptocurrencies.

The recent Federal Reserve meeting left interest rates unchanged, but policymakers adopted a more hawkish tone and indicated that inflation remains a concern. As a result, expectations for future tightening have increased significantly, leading investors to reduce exposure to speculative assets.

Bitcoin managed to avoid a major breakdown despite the challenging macroeconomic environment, trading around the $63,000-$64,000 range. However, analysts note that the cryptocurrency continues to face strong resistance as higher interest rate expectations reduce market liquidity and weaken investor appetite for risk.

Many traders are now closely watching upcoming economic data and Federal Reserve commentary for clues about the next policy move. A confirmed rate hike could create additional volatility across both traditional and digital asset markets.

Despite short-term uncertainty, long-term Bitcoin supporters argue that periods of macroeconomic pressure often test market conviction and can eventually create opportunities for strategic investors. For now, the battle between tightening monetary policy and Bitcoin's long-term adoption story remains one of the market's most important narratives.

As June draws to a close, investors will continue monitoring whether Bitcoin can defend the $63,000 support zone or whether renewed macroeconomic pressure will push prices toward fresh lows.

The latest Ethereum upgrade also pushed gas fees to new lows, allowing easier retail transactions. As Cryptopolitan reported earlier, some of the activity comes from dust attacks, leading to a wave of drained personal wallets.


The Ethereum network entered a period of transition in H1, after a wave of exits from key engineering experts. The chain now relies on a mix of institutional interest and a return of retail users, as well as the specific attraction of DeFi apps.

Ethereum also relies on attracting larger financial operations through an open on-chain structure, showing the benefits of private networks, according to the analysis by the Etherealize team.

Ethereum frontloaded the first half of 2026 with a strong performance in Q1. Some of the momentum in terms of transaction activity continued in Q2.

The biggest driver of value locked for Ethereum is the new wave of asset tokenization. Ethereum has tokenized 1,058 assets, with 199,156 holders, up 11% in the past month. Transactions for RWA tokens also increased by over 30% in the past month. Most asset classes on Ethereum showed year-on-year growth.
