ARKB and IBIT led the decline in redemptions, while FBTC and MSBT maintained positive growth. Therefore, it remains unclear whether the divergence in fund flows is a rotation or an overall weakness.

US spot Bitcoin ETFs turned negative on June 17th, but fund-level fund flows show market divergence, with some products still attracting new inflows.

Farside Investors recorded a net outflow of $82.2 million from US spot Bitcoin ETFs, but the divergence behind this total is more significant than the net outflow figure itself.

ARKB's market capitalization shrank by $43.5 million, IBIT's by $30.8 million, GBTC's by $15.5 million, BTCO's by $6.4 million, and HODL's by $4.1 million. However, FBTC's market capitalization increased by $14 million, and MSBT's by $4.1 million, making the day a test of demand across different Bitcoin product offerings.

The outflow occurred around the time of the Federal Reserve's policy update on June 17, coinciding with Kevin Warsh's first meeting as chairman. This meeting kept interest rates unchanged but adjusted expectations for future interest rates and inflation, weakening their support for risk assets.

The first batch of ETF data after the policy adjustment is a stress test of which Bitcoin products can still gain market acceptance when the macroeconomic buffer weakens.
