On the weekly chart the token continues to hold the critical $1.13 support level that has contained selling pressure through the current bear market. The larger bearish trend has not yet reversed and no structural confirmation of a bottom has arrived.

The Pattern Forming on the Four Hour Chart
A double bottom pattern, also known as a W pattern, is developing on the four-hour XRP chart at a resistance zone between $1.18 and $1.19. XRP is currently struggling to close convincingly above that level, producing candles that briefly push through but fail to hold.

The same double bottom pattern has already played out and confirmed on Bitcoin’s chart. XRP is lagging behind, still at the potential breakout point while Bitcoin has already cleared its equivalent resistance and moved toward the next target. That lag is consistent with the broader pattern of major altcoins following Bitcoin’s price action with a delay.

Important Levels
A confirmed breakout above $1.19 with sustained closes above that level would technically target approximately $1.29, representing a 9% to 10% move from the breakout point. Resistance along the way sits at approximately $1.24, which would likely slow any rally before the $1.29 target is reached.

If XRP breaks out but then falls back below $1.18, that would invalidate the pattern and the associated price target entirely. The $1.13 weekly support remains the floor that must hold to keep the broader structure intact.

BitGo offers Europe’s crypto firms a MiCA-compliance lifeline as license deadline looms

As the deadline looms for crypto companies to obtain licenses in Europe, BitGo (BTGO) is offering firms an easier transition to Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) compliance, the listed technology firm said on Wednesday.

BitGo Europe, which is authorized by the German regulator BaFin, says its Crypto-as-a-Service platform provides crypto players across Europe an alternative way to navigate MiCA, rather than the burden of building a standalone regulated crypto operating stack from the ground up, according to a press release.

BitGo CEO Mike Belshi said that if a firm is running wallets and does not have a MiCA license, they can sign up with BitGo easily integrate their wallets into BitGo wallets, with the proviso that certain know-your-customer (KYC) work aligned with MiCA would have to be done.

“All of your clients can be onboarded and have sub-accounts inside of BitGo,” Belshi said in an interview. “Now, they are your clients: you help them with support, you help them with all of the products, you do all that stuff, we don't do any of that. But they are now in segregated safe storage that's MICA-compliant. You can now go about your business.”

Eligible businesses may also continue to evaluate or pursue their own MiCA-focused crypto asset service provider (CASP) licenses in parallel while integrating BitGo Europe’s infrastructure, BitGo said.

The final deadline for crypto firms to have transitioned to the MiCA regime is the end of this month, a regulatory reckoning that will force some firms to close down their businesses.

Industry estimates suggest that Europe had more than 3,000 registered crypto firms as of 2024, with Poland alone accounting for over 1,400 registrations. As of May 2026, there are 194 authorised CASPs (including credit institutions) and it is expected that around 75% of the pre-MiCA population will lose registration

Kalshi’s perpetual futures push has crossed a major early volume mark, as the prediction market platform looks to expand the product beyond crypto-linked contracts.

According to Bloomberg, Kalshi said its perpetual futures products generated more than $5.5 billion in trading volume within two weeks of launch. The company now lists 11 contracts tied to crypto tokens and is speaking with regulators about additional products.

Fast start for Kalshi perpetual futures

Perpetual futures are contracts that do not expire. Bloomberg described them as “never-expiring derivatives,” a structure that lets traders hold long or short exposure without rolling into a new contract at a set date.

Kalshi’s first wave of perpetual futures remains focused on digital assets. The company has listed contracts linked to crypto markets, while co-founder Tarek Mansour said Kalshi wants to expand the product into other asset classes over time.

As previously reported by crypto.news, Kalshi launched CFTC-approved Bitcoin perpetual futures in the United States after receiving approval for the BTCPERP contract on May 29.
