Phong Le, CEO of Strategy, one of the world’s largest institutional Bitcoin holders, announced a significant change in the company’s Bitcoin management strategy. Speaking in an exclusive interview with CNBC, Le stated that they have shifted from a “never sell” approach to an active management model that maximizes shareholder value.

Phong Le stated that the company can now use its Bitcoin assets for liquidity and dividend payments when needed, instead of simply holding them. CEO Le said, “I believe in mathematics rather than ideology. If selling Bitcoin becomes a more profitable option than issuing new shares to pay dividends to our shareholders, we will do it.”

Le argued that the primary goal of this strategy was to increase the “amount of Bitcoin per share” and protect the rights of existing shareholders, adding that the Bitcoin sale would be evaluated specifically based on the relationship between the company’s book value and market price, and on tax advantages (profit/loss balance).

Responding to questions about the company’s preferred stock, “Stretch,” which offers a monthly return of 11.5%, Le reminded them of the company’s annual dividend obligation of $1.5 billion. Stating that they have the capacity to meet 18 months of dividends at current levels, Le reassured investors by saying, “We have approximately $60 billion in Bitcoin reserves to secure these payments.”

Addressing concerns about whether Strategy’s sales, given its massive market position, would affect the Bitcoin price, the CEO made the following statement:

“The Bitcoin market has a daily trading volume of over $60 billion. Our total annual dividend payments, however, are only $1.5 billion. On a daily basis, our transactions account for only a few basis points of the total liquidity. Therefore, we are not manipulating the market price upwards or downwards.”

The bot used about $1.14 million in WETH but likely lost money after gas. The incident renewed attention on encrypted mempools as Ethereum developers seek stronger protection against MEV. CoinDesk reported that the Ethereum co-founder exchanged about $3.86 in XDB for about $4.56 in ETH. The trade was front-run and back-run by the jaredfromsubway.eth bot in Ethereum block 24993038. The bot reportedly used about $1.14 million in wrapped Ether across SushiSwap and Uniswap V2 to move the XDB price around Buterin’s swap. This type of MEV directly extracts value from regular users by giving them poorer execution. In this case, the loss for Buterin was likely only a few cents. CoinDesk reported that the bot may have lost money after paying about $5.14 in gas fees. The case still showed how automated MEV systems scan even very small trades. JaredfromSubway is not new to Ethereum traders. In 2023, crypto.news reported that the bot used 455 ETH in 24 hours and accounted for about 7% of all Ethereum gas during that period. That same report cited tracking data showing the bot had performed about 180,000 transactions over two months. The latest Buterin case brings that history back into view, even though the trade itself was small. Cardano’s ADA may be approaching a pivotal moment as widely-followed crypto pundit Ali Martinez highlights a key support level that has historically triggered explosive 243% rallies, raising speculation that the cryptocurrency could be gearing up for another major breakout.

In his latest Cardano analysis on X, Ali Martinez emphasizes that the $0.25 level remains a powerful psychological and technical anchor for ADA’s price movement. He notes that this zone has repeatedly acted as a springboard for strong recoveries in the past, and the recent rebound from the same area could be an early signal that Cardano is once again building momentum for a larger structural rally.

To back up his bullish view, the crypto analyst highlighted two historical instances in which Cardano successfully defended the $0.25 support zone before staging powerful upside moves. In January 2023, for instance, ADA bounced from this level and climbed over 88% in the weeks that followed. Then in September 2023, the same support held once again, preceding an even stronger 243% rally—strengthening the argument that $0.25 has repeatedly acted as a major launchpad for Cardano’s explosive price moves.
ADA is once again showing strength around this familiar price floor, leading Martinez to suggest that another major upside phase could be forming. Notably, Cardano has managed to stay above the $0.25 support zone since May 5, with the token currently hovering around $0.2736—just above this key area—suggesting bulls are still defending the level and keeping the door open for a potential continuation higher.
