Ethereum is currently in a range-bound consolidation phase, where price is moving sideways after recent volatility. The market is balancing between buyers and sellers, with no strong confirmed trend yet.

Saved Recent market activity shows Ethereum is holding important support levels, while resistance zones are slowing upward momentum. However, long-term strength remains due to strong usage in DeFi, NFTs, and Layer-2 scaling networks.

Institutional interest and ecosystem development are still active, but the market is waiting for a strong catalyst (like Bitcoin breakout or liquidity increase) to decide the next direction.

The main scenario for $TON is bullish because the daily chart remains firmly trend-led. Price trades at 2.78, well above the 20-day EMA at 1.64, the 50-day EMA at 1.46, and the 200-day EMA at 1.67. That kind of separation does not happen in a weak market.

It reflects aggressive repricing and strong directional control from buyers. At the same time, the distance from those averages shows the move is stretched. Therefore, trend continuation remains the base case, but pullback risk is rising.

The hourly chart still leans constructive, which supports the daily thesis. However, the 15-minute chart shows momentum fading near local resistance. That does not reverse the trend by itself. It simply suggests upside continuation may need consolidation before the next leg.

Daily chart: trend is strong, but overheated
On the daily timeframe, $TON is trading in a very extended bullish structure. The moving average stack is cleanly positive, with the shorter EMA above the longer ones and price above all of them. This is exactly what a strong trend is supposed to look like.

The problem is that price is now significantly detached from the trend base, so mean reversion risk is growing even if the broader structure stays intact. Moreover, the RSI on D1 is 93.48, which is an extreme reading.

That tells you buyers have been in full control, but it also warns that the move is crowded and vulnerable to profit-taking. The MACD on D1 remains bullish, with the line at 0.23, signal at 0.08, and histogram at 0.14.

Momentum is still expanding on the higher timeframe, so the trend has not actually broken down yet despite the overboug

Ripple Chief Technology Emeritus Officer David "JoelKatz" Schwartz has admitted to intentionally holding back his true optimism regarding $XRP and the broader digital asset market.

Schwartz is hesitant to share his opinions because his enthusiasm could be misconstrued as market manipulation.

Known for his candid interactions with the crypto community, the Ripple veteran recently expressed regret over the stifling effect his prominent position has on his ability to speak freely.

"It's kind of sad that I don't feel comfortable sharing my optimism about $XRP (and even, to some extent, cryptocurrencies generally) because it could be perceived as self-serving or, worse, deliberate manipulation," Schwartz shared on X.

The statement highlights the delicate tightrope industry executives must walk, where genuine bullishness is frequently attacked by critics as an attempt to artificially pump their own bags.

Defending the right to sell
Schwartz's hesitation to express optimism is closely tied to the intense scrutiny he receives whenever he discusses his personal portfolio (specifically his history of selling crypto assets).

In an industry dominated by a "diamond hands" culture that shames taking profits, Schwartz has always been a vocal proponent of pragmatic risk management.

Defending his past decisions to sell off portions of his $XRP, Bitcoin, and Ethereum, Schwartz noted that the market is a level playing field.

"Everyone had the same opportunity to buy and sell $XRP that I did. I did the same thing with bitcoin and ETH and nobody seems to have a problem with that," he explained. "I utterly reject the idea that selling is somehow morally inferior to buying and have advocated that everyone sell when it's in their personal financial interest to do so."

UAE Builds Regulated Rails for Swapping Dirham and Dollar StablecoinsThe UAE is developing a regulated framework that allows near-instant conversion between a dirham stablecoin and a dollar stablecoin. The system targets institutional payments, treasury operations, and cross-border transactions.

According to the announcement, two regulated stablecoins sit at the centre of the framework. AE Coin is licensed by the UAE Central Bank and pegged to the dirham. USDU is regulated by Abu Dhabi Global Market’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority and backed by the US dollar. 

Al Maryah Community Bank will manage the payment infrastructure. Aquanow and Changer.ae, both regulated digital asset providers in the UAE, will provide initial access.

Why It Matters
Cross-border payments between dirham and dollar accounts have always been slow and expensive. This framework creates a direct conversion rail between the two currencies using regulated stablecoins, removing correspondent banking delays and settlement friction entirely.

The system is designed for institutional use first. Businesses managing liquidity across dirham and dollar accounts can convert between the two stablecoins in real time, within a fully compliant structure, at any hour of the day. 

The companies behind it said the framework could later expand into trade finance and multi-currency settlement, with integrations across cross-border payment platforms to follow.

USDU, launched in January, is the first dollar-backed stablecoin registered under the UAE’s Payment Token Services Regulation. It is approved for digital asset payments but not yet cleared for general retail use on the UAE mainland
