Analyst Says XRP 100-Day Accumulation Feels Like "They've Fired up the Rockets" A market analyst points out that XRP has continued to accumulate for over 100 days, says it feels like "they've fired up the rockets."

Specifically, Celal Küçüker shared a daily XRP chart showing that the crypto asset has undergone what looks like a 100-day accumulation trend below a multi-month descending trendline. He believes this could be a precursor for an explosive push, as a breakout looms.

The public acknowledgment by Charles Hoskinson, who described the XRPL architecture as "very elegant," sparked new debates about the network's actual decentralization. Ripple CTO Emeritus David Schwartz stepped into the discussion to explain how the ledger protects itself from covert capture by large corporations.
Schwartz points to a classic paradox - in cryptocurrencies, capital usually rules. Large corporations can afford expensive hardware and entire engineering teams, which is why their nodes and validators operate flawlessly and without interruptions.
How XRPL stops big tech from buying out the network

According to Schwartz, if the creators of $XRP Ledger had focused only on achieving perfect technical stability, the network would have quickly fallen under the full control of a handful of IT giants. To prevent that outcome, Schwartz insists on attracting a large number of ordinary independent participants from different regions.
But that raises a problem: what happens if their servers suddenly go offline because of internet outages or power failures?

To solve this dilemma, Schwartz and his team implemented the Negative UNL (Negative Unique Node List) mechanism. If a small independent participant suddenly goes offline, the remaining servers, through consensus, temporarily place that participant on a blacklist and continue processing payments quickly without waiting for them.

Schwartz emphasizes the "surprising detail" that this list cannot be turned into a censorship weapon. Even if large corporations colluded and deliberately added an independent participant to it, they still would not be able to strip that participant of voting rights.

Another European Union Member State Has Approved MICA in Its Parliament! Here Are the Details

The Polish Parliament has taken a critical step in the comprehensive regulation process for the country’s digital asset market by approving a bill that will align with MiCA, the European Union’s framework for regulatory compliance with crypto assets.

The government-backed regulation aims to bring Poland into compliance with European Union standards by July. Otherwise, cryptocurrency companies operating in the country risk losing their licenses and permission to provide services.

The adoption of the new regulation coincides with a deepening of a wide-ranging investigation into Zondacrypto, one of the country’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges. Polish prosecutors are investigating allegations of fraud stemming from withdrawal problems on the platform. Initial estimates suggest the total losses incurred by users amount to 350 million zloty, or approximately $96 million.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, in a statement in April, hinted at links between the Russian mafia and Russian intelligence services in the Zondacrypto scandal. These remarks heightened political tensions in the country and brought the security aspects of cryptocurrency regulation to the forefront.

However, the legislative process is still fraught with political uncertainty. President Karol Nawrocki had previously vetoed two similar cryptocurrency regulation bills presented by the government, arguing that they would place an excessive burden on the industry. Nawrocki had presented an alternative bill that included lower fines.

Other proposals under consideration in parliament include a motion advocating for a complete ban on cryptocurrency activities. However, the adoption of the current bill is seen as a significant milestone for Poland in aligning with European crypto regula

Crypto analyst Bee has forecasted a major price bottom for Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s largest digital currency. Despite its recent rally above $80,000, the expert still believes that BTC remains in a broader bearish market, likely viewing the latest price gains as a temporary bounce. While some analysts think that Bitcoin’s downtrend is over and others project a bottom around the $50,000 range, Bee expects BTC’s price to decline even lower before a sustained rally can begin.

Bitcoin Price Set To Bottom Around $42,000
In an X post on May 11, Bee said that Bitcoin is just one leg away from reaching its historical cycle bottom. The market expert shared a video chart analysis highlighting technical patterns and historical trends to support their bearish Bitcoin price outlook.

The analyst’s chart shows that Bitcoin has been forming multiple ascending channels within a broader descending channel since reaching a cycle peak above $126,200 in October 2025. After recording this all-time high, Btc crashed to $82,167, forming a lower low, where the first ascending channel began. Within this channel, the cryptocurrency traded sideways for months before rallying again to touch the upper boundary of the pattern at around $97,855.

After that lower high was reached, BTC began crashing again, but this time, the decline was even sharper and more severe. The cryptocurrency had fallen to $59,900 around February 2026, forming a lower low that many analysts still consider BTC’s final cycle bottom.
