Bitcoin fell 2.86% today from yesterday's intraday high while the S&P 500 gapped lower.

The current Bitcoin price chart shows BTC rallying from roughly the mid-$74,000s on Monday, Apr. 20, to a local high near $79,500 yesterday, then reversing by about $2,276 over roughly 17 hours.

As of press time, CryptoSlate's Bitcoin page shows BTC near $77,480, keeping the market back near the mid-$77,000s.

The cross-asset setup around the drop is interesting. The S&P 500 shows a pre-market and early-session gap lower on the SPY view, from roughly $710 toward $708.

WTI crude sits around $93.96, roughly the same level it showed when BTC hit $79,400. That combination points first to risk appetite and positioning.

For starters, Venice AI operates a platform that integrates most AI models like DeepSeek, Grok, ChatGPT, and Claude. Users enter their queries and then the platform selects the best model to use, while emphasizing privacy.

Venice uses a freemium model. Users can use its platform for free or pay for tiered subscriptions, which start at $18 all the way to $200 a month.

The $VVV token has soared this year because of the ongoing hype around AI that has pushed top assets to record highs. For example, AI companies like Sandisk, Micron, and Western Digital are the top gainers in the S&P 500 Index this year.

Similarly, AI companies have seen their valuations surge, with analysts placing Anthropic’s real value at over $1 trillion, up from $380 billion a few months ago. Anthropic’s annualized run rate (ARR) has jumped to over $30 billion.

new 110-page report from Project Eleven warns that more than $3 trillion in digital assets secured by elliptic curve cryptography could become vulnerable to quantum attacks within four to seven years.
The report says a “Q-Day” — when quantum computers can break widely used public-key cryptography — could arrive as early as 2030 and no later than 2033, threatening blockchains, banking, cloud systems and military communications.
Migrating global financial and digital infrastructure, including Bitcoin, to post-quantum cryptography could take a decade and is hampered less by technical limits than by the need for costly, highly coordinated action across users, institutions and networks.
