The cyberattack on Iranian crypto exchange Nobitex

The cyberattack on Iranian crypto exchange Nobitex just got worse as hackers dealt another major blow.

Gonjeshke Darande, the hacker group behind the Nobitex hack, posted what they said was the exchange’s full source code on Twitter on Thursday.

“Time’s up — full source code below. ASSETS REMAINING IN NOBITEX ARE NOW FULLY EXPOSED,” the hackers wrote. In a subsequent eight-part thread, the group revealed sensitive information about the exchange’s infrastructure, including server mockups, privacy tools, deployment systems, and more.

The move, which further jeopardizes what’s left of user assets, comes as the exchange continues to reel from a recent hack of its hot wallets, with total losses now reaching $100 million in various crypto assets.1750445717225.png
