Hyperliquid’s $HYPE token has narrowly overtaken Dogecoin by market capitalization on CoinMarketCap. The move came after $HYPE pushed to a fresh all-time high above $64 on May 24, while Dogecoin remained near $0.10.

The margin is thin, and rankings remain sensitive to price feeds and circulating-supply methodology. CoinMarketCap data showed Hyperliquid with a market capitalization of about $16.03 billion, 24-hour volume of $1.11 billion, an FDV near $60.08 billion and a circulating supply of 254.07 million $HYPE. Dogecoin, by comparison, was listed with a live market cap of about $15.87 billion, 24-hour volume of roughly $591.7 million and a circulating supply of 154.38 billion $DOGE.

President Trump is tying the fate of a US-Iran deal to a much broader diplomatic demand: that a slate of Muslim-majority nations establish formal relations with Israel.

On May 25, Trump posted on Truth Social that these countries must "simultaneously" sign the Abraham Accords as part of any agreement with Tehran. Saudi Arabia and Qatar are being pushed to lead the way, with Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan expected to follow.

Hyperliquid expands HIP-4 with validator governed outcome markets Hyperliquid has expanded HIP-4 to let validators create and settle markets based on real world events, bringing those contracts directly into the network instead of relying on outside oracle providers.

The update allows automated newsfeed software run by validators to publish markets as part of regular chain operations. Validators then vote on deployment and settlement based on factors such as rule clarity, correctness, and market quality.

The move extends HIP-4 beyond onchain price based markets into a broader category of event contracts where outcomes depend on external information. HIP-4 launched on mainnet on May 2, introducing fully collateralized binary contracts that settle based on real world events.

HIP-4 markets are structured as fully collateralized, expiry based contracts that resolve to either 0 or 1 depending on whether an event occurs. The structure gives traders exposure to specific outcomes without leverage or forced liquidations, while keeping execution inside Hyperliquid’s onchain trading environment.

The latest update focuses on the settlement layer. Instead of relying only on external oracle providers for certain offchain events, Hyperliquid said validators can now participate directly in the publication and resolution process through onchain votes. That creates a closed loop design where the same validator set securing the network also helps determine canonical market outcomes.

HYPE was last trading 1% lower on the day near $62, though the token remains up more than 36% over the past week and over 50% in the last 30 days.

A crypto analyst is raising questions over whether the famous four-year cycle theory that has governed Bitcoin’s (BTC) market trajectory in the past is now dead. The expert has shared BTC’s price movements and investor trends to prove that the cycle theory is still very much alive and playing out in the current market cycle.

Analyst Says Bitcoin’s 4-Year Cycle Is Still Active
In an X post on May 23, Mags, a crypto analyst, has raised concerns about whether “the 4-year cycle is over” for Bitcoin. This debate has been spreading across the market for months now, with some experts, such as Strategy CEO Michael Saylor, stating that the four-year cycle has ended, while others believe it is still active.

Many crypto community members, in response to Mags’ post, also compared this cycle to past ones. They noted that the current BTC market is markedly different from previous cycles, due to the emergence of Spot ETFs, increased institutional flows, and broader adoption.

However, after examining and comparing these cycles himself, Mags noted that each one corresponds almost perfectly to the next. The analyst pointed to the 2011-2014 four-year cycle on his accompanying chart, highlighting how the market moved through distinct stages of investor activity and price movement during that period.

In 2011, Bitcoin prices were declining, presenting a buying opportunity for investors. In the second year, Bitcoin began to rise, and investors simply held onto their tokens to allow them to grow. By 2013, prices had climbed to near peak levels, which the analyst noted was when most investors began selling their BTC. The fourth and final year of that cycle saw the market crash, and prices fall sharply. Mags described this as the bear market stage, marking the final stage before a fresh bull cycle began.
