Celsius Seeks $7.7M From Voyager's Estate as Bankruptcy

Lawyers for bankrupt lender Celsius are seeking to recover $7.7 million from the estate of rival Voyager, according to a coindesk report. Documents filed with a court in the Southern District of New York in the early hours of Wednesday show that US bankruptcy law allows recovery of transactions made by Celsius in the three months before it filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 of the bankruptcy code on July 13. Voyager maintained Earn accounts on Celsius, earning significant rewards for its users, the filing said. During the critical 90-day period, Voyager made $7.7 million in transactions between Celsius accounts, of which $5.9 million was withdrawn. Section 547 of the Bankruptcy Code allows Celsius to recover these cryptocurrencies.
