Circle: Calls on regulators to reform financial regulations to ensure public financial privacy is protected

08/12 14:39

USDC issuer Circle has published a blog post on its website calling on financial regulators to reform and amend relevant financial regulations, such as the Bank Secrecy Act (52 years old), to identify the difference between open protocols, software and illegal actors, and to keep blockchain-based finance open and universally accessible. In addition, the article advocates for regulation to encourage and coordinate the legitimate use of crypto assets and open blockchains, ensuring that privacy decentralised identities and their protocols and tools can be regulated for use.
