On June 21, tech entrepreneur Peter Diamandis recently shared a prediction made by Elon Musk. Musk stated that if current trends continue and a third world war does not break out, the global economy is expected to grow tenfold in the next decade, during which humanity will establish a permanent base on the Moon. Musk admitted that this forecast "may sound quite crazy," but he believes it is actually a "rather conservative prediction." He also emphasized that geopolitical risks are the biggest variable in this outlook—"If something like a third world war breaks out, it would significantly derail these plans or expectations." Musk later retweeted the post and commented, "Wild times ahead!"
