Ant Group: Token Consumption Expected to Increase Exponentially, Projected to Grow Over 300 Times by 2030

On May 26, Alipay held the AI Payment Ecosystem Conference. At the conference, Zhuang Zheng, the director of the Ant Group Research Institute, stated, "Digital resources such as tokens, data, and tools have become the most important production factors. Tokens, data, and tools are essential fuel, sensory input, and limbs for intelligent agents." He predicted, "Token consumption will experience exponential growth, with an expected increase of over 300 times by 2030, supported by 2.2 billion active intelligent agents capable of executing up to 400 trillion tasks annually."
