1. What Is Plume Network?

Plume Network is a public, EVM-compatible blockchain for real-world asset finance (RWAfi), with Ethereum as its settlement layer. Beyond providing asset-tokenization tools, it aims to enable tokenized treasuries, credit, commodities, and other real-world assets to be traded, staked, lent, and composed just like natively on-chain assets.

2. How Does Plume Network Work?

Plume provides a complete stack for bringing RWAs on-chain and putting them to use. Arc handles asset issuance and management and connects to compliance, data, and asset services. Plume Portal aggregates access to cross-chain transfers, staking, rewards, and ecosystem applications. Native assets such as pUSD provide the network's settlement and liquidity foundation. Validators secure the network by staking PLUME, and users can delegate PLUME to validators and participate in governance. PLUME also serves as gas and as a staking, collateral, and partial ecosystem-access asset.

3. Who Founded Plume Network?

Plume Network was co-founded in 2023 by Chris Yin, Teddy Pornprinya, and Eugene Shen, with a team spanning product, traditional finance, and blockchain engineering backgrounds. The project completed a $10 million seed round and a $20 million Series A in 2024, bringing total disclosed funding to approximately $30 million.

4. PLUME Tokenomics

PLUME has a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens, with an initial circulating supply of 20% of the total at token generation. The allocation is: Community, Ecosystem & Foundation 59%, Early Backers 21%, and Core Contributors 20%. The 59% ecosystem share is used for community airdrops, developer grants, validator rewards, liquidity, and foundation operations, with the community airdrop accounting for 7% of the total supply. PLUME is used for gas, staking, governance, ecosystem incentives, and RWAfi application access.

5. Timeline of Key Milestones

2023: Plume Network is founded.

2024: The project makes its public debut, completing its testnet and major funding rounds.

January 2025: The PLUME token is generated.

June 5, 2025: The Plume Genesis public mainnet goes live, with PLUME staking opening simultaneously.

Second half of 2025: RWAfi applications, tokenized assets, and compliance infrastructure are expanded.

2026: The Plume mainnet continues to operate, with official documentation regularly updated for network, staking, and asset-issuance tools.
