Stripe, a payment processing company, has been accused of withholding $60,000 from a small business due to chargebacks filed against it. Stripe stopped supporting Bitcoin payments in 2008, and several businesses have complained about similar issues. Stripe has the right to hold back funds for weeks or months while it resolves disputes, which can be detrimental to small businesses. Despite claims that only 10-25% of funds are withheld, a screenshot suggests that Stripe has held 100% of a business's reserves, and the company could do better than holding funds hostage.
