On June 21, according to the Islamic Republic News Agency, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi reiterated that Iran will not abandon its rights to uranium enrichment and emphasized that Iran "clearly states it will not produce atomic bombs." Raisi stated that the United States aims to ensure Iran does not develop nuclear weapons, and for years, Iran has had no intention of producing nuclear weapons. "But one thing is clear: Iran will never give up its rights to uranium enrichment, and the United States must accept this," he said. Raisi mentioned that the terms of understanding between Iran and the U.S. are generally beneficial to the Iranian people. With the initiation of negotiations between Iran and the U.S., $6 billion of Iranian funds held in Qatar will be unfrozen.
