QQ Browser Integrates Yuanbao Assistant, Upgrades Underlying Model to Hy3 Preview

According to monitoring by Beating, Tencent has announced that QQ Browser has fully integrated the AI assistant 'Yuanbao' (the Mac version has been updated, with other versions to follow). Unlike previous versions that required users to separately find sidebar or floating window entrances, this update deeply embeds Yuanbao into the browser's sidebar, search bar, and address bar. The main changes in this update include: 1. Instant access and direct search: Users can summon Yuanbao at any time while browsing the web, reading documents, or researching English materials to ask questions, summarize, converse, or translate words. When users enter common terms in the address or search bar, the first search result will directly present a structured answer organized by Yuanbao, supporting follow-up questions. 2. Cross-web and document joint Q&A: Users can import multiple web pages or documents. By clicking '+ Web Page/File', users can bring in content from different sources for comprehensive comparison, analysis, and information extraction by Yuanbao. 3. New writing and live image features: Integrated with Yuanbao's AI capabilities, it supports writing from scratch, imitation, continuation, or polishing of text, and can generate accompanying images based on descriptions; the learning module also supports photo-based question searching and organizes them into an electronic error book. 4. Underlying model upgrade: The underlying large model of the browser has been upgraded to the Hy3 preview version, with the official Q&A accuracy rate improving from 91% to 94%, and the logic and readability of long answers have been optimized. The completeness of responses for existing high-frequency features such as web page summaries, mind maps, and reading modes has also been enhanced.
