Takaichi Sanae, the newly elected president of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, stated that the government and the Bank of Japan need to maintain consistency in economic policies. She will closely coordinate with the Bank of Japan. Takaichi Sanae supports large-scale public spending and low interest rates in the economy, continuing the policies of the Shinzo Abe era.
