US California federal judge Stanley Blumenfeld Jr. dismissed the class action lawsuit against Caitlyn Jenner and her partner Sophia Hutchins. Plaintiff British investor Lee Greenfield claimed to have lost over $40,000 from holding Meme coins issued by Jenner between May and July 2024, accusing the defendants of violating nine charges including securities laws. The judge ruled that the plaintiff did not provide sufficient evidence to prove that token trading is subject to US law, giving him until May 23 to supplement evidence. Greenfield accused Jenner's team of first issuing JENNER tokens on Solana, and two days later launching the same tokens on Ethereum causing the former to depreciate, while also promoting another pet dog-themed token BBARK. Jenner's side profits from collecting a 3% transaction fee on the Ethereum version. Previously, Jenner was involved in a memecoin controversy orchestrated by Sahil Arora.
