What Is Zircuit

Zircuit is a Layer 2 solution that combines Optimistic Rollup and ZK Rollup architectures, featuring AI-driven sequencer-level security and parallel circuits. Built by a team of web3 security veterans and PhDs in computer science, algorithms, and cryptography, Zircuit integrates the advantages of both Optimistic Rollup and ZK Rollup. By harnessing AI to enhance network security and utilizing staking and restaking narratives to activate ecosystem liquidity, Zircuit offers users a more efficient blockchain experience.

The Technical Principles and Product Advantages of Zircuit

Zircuit uses a hybrid architecture that combines Optimistic Rollup and ZK Rollup. The construction of a Rollup network involves various components such as sequencers, smart contracts, cross-chain bridges, execution layers, and more. To streamline development, Zircuit utilizes OP Stack, the most widely adopted Rollup development framework on the market today, which has been rigorously tested in practice. However, as OP Stack is exclusively designed for building Optimistic Rollups, Zircuit replaced all components related to the Optimistic model with ZK components. This allows Zircuit to advance towards a more secure and efficient ZK Rollup architecture. The hybrid architecture not only enables Zircuit to complete network construction in a shorter timeframe with enhanced security but also eliminates the functional limitations of OP Stack, allowing Zircuit to directly implement the benefits of ZK Rollup. Additionally, Zircuit’s compatibility with OP Stack ensures smooth integration with future Ethereum upgrades, positioning Zircuit to stay aligned with developments in the broader Ethereum ecosystem.

Beyond its hybrid architecture, Zircuit's most distinctive feature is its integration of AI mechanisms at the network operation level, making it the only Layer 2 solution of its kind. Specifically, Zircuit incorporates a Sequencer-level Security (SLS) system, which features an AI-driven evaluation module, which uses transaction data from all EVM-compatible chains as training data to autonomously detect and identify potentially malicious transactions. In a blockchain landscape prone to security incidents, Zircuit’s AI intervention mechanism enables proactive prevention, breaking the industry's passive approach of seeking compensation only after a security breach occurs.
