Flight tracking platform FlightAware has voluntarily withdrawn its lawsuit against the company Kalshi just one day after filing it in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District.
As previously reported by Happy Coin News, on Monday, FlightAware accused the prediction platform of illegally using its data and trademark for flight cancellation contracts. The organization's lawyers asked the court to prohibit Kalshi from doing so.
However, even before a court decision and the formal start of the legal process, Kalshi changed the wording on its flight cancellation markets. Previously, the platform stated that its contract data was verified by FlightAware, but now it says it is "verified by the Primary Source Agency," with a link to FlightAware's website.
