After Significant Growth, Coinbase CEO Unveils Bitcoin Price Forecast! "$300,000 to $400,000"
Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, has projected that Bitcoin could reach between $300,000 and $400,000 by the year 2030, describing such a price target as "quite likely." His comments were made during an interview on Fox Business Network, following a notable surge in Bitcoin's price above $72,000.
Armstrong also discussed the recent meeting hosted by former President Donald Trump with leaders from the crypto and traditional finance sectors. A key topic was the long-debated CLARITY Act, legislation aimed at creating a clear U.S. regulatory framework to classify digital assets as securities, commodities, or payment-focused stablecoins. Armstrong noted a "strong sense of urgency" within the administration to finalize and pass the bill, which is now expected to face a vote in September after delays.
While the bill has faced opposition from some traditional banks concerned about deposit outflows to crypto platforms offering high yields on stablecoins, Armstrong stated that many banks actually support the CLARITY Act, seeing it as an opportunity to expand their business through new technology.
