Команда Turbo Protocol запустила решение второго уровня на базе Ethereum, способное обрабатывать до 400 000 транзакций в секунду (TPS), сообщает The Block.

По словам разработчиков, столь высокая производительность достигается благодаря параллельной обработке транзакций.

Для сравнения, TPS блокчейна Ethereum составляет 20-30, Solana — чуть более 1000, а централизованной платежной системы Visa — примерно 24 000.

CEO проекта Turbo Аарон Гринблатт продемонстрировал возможности блокчейна в ходе мероприятия Blockchain Application Stanford Summit в Нью-Йорке. Он отметил, что запускаемым в сети второго уровня приложениям не придется «конкурировать за комиссии в Ethereum».

«Любая Web3-платформа, которая стремится перенести большие вычислительные нагрузки ончейн, может использовать Turbo Protocol. Это могут быть проекты в таких областях, как децентрализованный ИИ, гейминг, соцсети», — добавил Гринблатт.
