One expert who tracks these patterns using a chart-based forecasting method said this zone had been the target for weeks, and the price hit it almost exactly as expected before pushing higher.According to this trader’s analysis, clearing this resistance zone and holding above it could open the door to a bigger rally, potentially toward the $83,000 to $95,000 range over time. If the price instead loses momentum and drops back down, it could slide toward a support zone between $70,500 and $75,138. Both outcomes were still on the table before the breakout, though clearing resistance strengthens the case for the more bullish path.Even with Bitcoin’s price climbing, some signals hinted the upward push may have been losing steam heading into the breakout. The expert pointed to a pattern where price kept making small new highs while the underlying momentum indicator weakened each time, something chart analysts view as an early warning sign that a rally could be running low on energy, even without a reversal yet.

In most cases, the price often revisits significant imbalances as the market attempts to rebalance areas of inefficient trading. The same turn of events could be in store for $ETHFI.

Whales increase $ETHFI exposure

Additionally, the surge in whale activity on the network seemed to offer yet another bullish indication.

As per the latest Spot Future Average Order Size data, $ETHFI’s big whales have continued to place their orders both in the Spot and Futures markets. These developments suggested that big players are still active around the price level of $ETHFI.

The ongoing demand from whales can help boost up the recovery and offer the much-needed liquidity to counter further bearishness.

Aave’s [$AAVE] sharp 11.25% rally pushed price toward the $145.55 resistance, as stronger Futures buying and Spot outflows supported the rally.

Meanwhile, trading volume rose to $770.74 million, coinciding with the swift growth. The scale of the move reflected stronger participation rather than an isolated price spike.

However, the $145.55 level remained key, as sellers had previously dominated the region. A strong break might extend the recovery towards the larger $180 area of resistance.

Futures positioning added another layer of support as 90-day Taker CVD was in a buyer-dominated position during $AAVE’s rally.

Market buyers made more aggressive moves than sellers in the measured Futures activity. This positioning aligned closely with $AAVE’s rapid move from the $86.26 region toward $145.55.

Importantly, buyer dominance strengthened the demand side as the price approached a zone capable of attracting profit-taking.

Futures demand could be crucial around the $145.55 area, as more aggressive action would assist in clearing out the available sell orders. However, a prolonged period of dominance would be more important than a brief run-up after the 11.25% move.

Exchange flows had shifted notably as $AAVE recorded $409.03K in Spot net outflows on the 24th of August.

The negative reading marked the end of three days of inflows, which had strengthened exchange-side supply during the rally.

Hence, the latest reversal reduced immediate supply pressure as $AAVE approached the critical $145.55 resistance area.

The shift also aligned more favorably with buyer-dominant Futures activity, strengthening the demand conditions surrounding the breakout attempt.

However, after three days of positive flows, one negative session had yet to form a consistent withdrawal pattern.

A newly merged Ethereum proposal would retire the network’s 512-validator sync committee, remove its rewards, and make the current Altair light-client interface obsolete by replacing it with offchain zero-knowledge proofs.

The Draft EIP-8390 estimates that deleting the committee’s reward weight would reduce annual consensus issuance by roughly 33,800 $ETH.

Ethereum would give up an in-protocol mechanism that lets lightweight clients follow the beacon chain before the proposed replacement proving service, migration interface, and economic support have been specified.

A sync committee is a 512-validator sample whose messages give light clients a compact way to track Ethereum without processing the full validator set.

The proposal entered the official EIPs repository at 02:04 UTC on Aug. 24, but its Draft status makes it a design for discussion, not an adopted upgrade. It has no activation epoch or Ethereum roadmap commitment, and the document leaves scheduling to client teams.

Eligible investors outside the United States gained onchain access to tokenized shares in several major U.S. companies on Aug. 24. Crypto exchange Coinbase (Nasdaq: COIN) issued the securities on Base using the B20 token standard. The tokenized stocks are backed 1:1 by underlying shares held through a regulated custodian in a bankruptcy-remote structure.
