Zcash Price Prediction: How High Can ZEC Go in 2026?Zcash price has moved into a very different range after another explosive week across the crypto market. ZEC climbed from around $486 on Monday to roughly $884 on Sunday before pulling back toward $848. That move has pushed Zcash well beyond the levels that defined its previous rally, leaving an important question for the rest of 2026. How much further can ZEC price travel before the current trend loses strength?

The latest analysis from the Altcoin Buzz YouTube channel provides several clues. Its review of Zcash price action points to strong technical readings across most indicators, although one major weakness could make any correction much deeper if buyers lose control.

Zcash entered this latest move after a remarkable recovery in 2025. ZEC price climbed from around $52 in late September to approximately $748 at the beginning of November. That rally eventually faded, sending Zcash back toward $185 during the following correction.

The current move has changed that picture considerably. ZEC price is now trading around $848, which places the token well above its 2025 high of $748.

The latest weekly move also happened quickly. Zcash price climbed from approximately $486 to $884 within several days, representing an increase of roughly 82%. The subsequent retreat toward $848 has been relatively modest compared with the size of that advance.

Altcoin Buzz examined this setup closely and found a technical structure that remains broadly bullish.

Weekly RSI echoes Bitcoin’s 2022 bear-market bottom

Relative strength index (RSI) data across daily, weekly and two-month time frames has added to the debate over whether last week’s 25% rebound by Bitcoin will endure.

RSI is a classic indicator for trend momentum. It uses an asset’s average gain or loss over a given lookback window, normally 14 days, to determine the strength of its current trend momentum. For Bitcoin, bullish divergences with price, where RSI makes higher highs while $BTC/USD makes lower lows, have accompanied the start of major trend inflections.

In mid-2022, around six months before the end of Bitcoin’s last bear market, weekly RSI began a bullish divergence, locking in higher lows while $BTC/USD saw lower lows. Throughout 2026, a similar pattern emerged, data from TradingView shows.

While short-term RSI signals present a less reliable picture of overall price trends, weekly signals have led some to rethink the status of the current bear market.

“Weekly is the timeframe that matters here, that’s where you read the secular trend and the cycle inflection points,” Jamie Coutts, chief crypto analyst at Real Vision, wrote in a post on X on Tuesday.

Coutts described weekly bullish divergences as having “real weight,” citing price upside that resulted from previous divergence events.

The US Justice Department said Monday that Brent Kovar was found guilty of 11 counts of wire fraud, two counts of mail fraud and two counts of money laundering following a nine-day trial.

Kovar owned Profit Connect from late 2017 to July 2021. The company purportedly used artificial intelligence software on a supercomputer to mine crypto and verify other crypto transactions.

Kovar falsely presented the company as profitable and promised fixed annual returns ranging from 15% to 30%, along with a 100% money-back guarantee. He also claimed that Profit Connect held hundreds of millions of dollars in crypto reserves.

Prosecutors said the company was not profitable and held no such reserves. It also had no legitimate means to deliver the promised returns or money-back guarantee.

Instead, Kovar used investor money to operate Profit Connect, buy gifts for employees, purchase a house for himself and repay earlier investors while presenting the payments as proceeds from crypto activities.

Kovar is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 30. The 280-year figure represents the combined statutory maximum, while a federal judge will determine his sentence.
