Chainlink teams up with 47 South Korean, European banks to speed up international money transfers Blockchain infrastructure company Chainlink said it is joining a group of banks that collectively represent over $10 trillion in assets under management to unlock real-time, stablecoin-based cross-border payments for foreign-exchange trades within a year.

The coalition, called Project Pangea, aims to redefine the global FX markets, Niki Ariyasinghe, Chainlink's vice president of Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, said in a video interview on Tuesday. In addition to Chainlink, the group includes Qivalis, a euro stablecoin consortium backed by 37 European banks, and UniKA, a Korean banking alliance representing more than 10 commercial banks.

The project aims to explore moving foreign-exchange settlement from a traditional 48-hour (T+2) timeline toward near-instant (T+0) settlement using regulated euro- and South Korean won-pegged stablecoins, or crypto tokens whose value is tied 1:1 to the underlying currency.

The initiative will evaluate whether the stablecoins can be exchanged through atomic payment-versus-payment (PvP) settlement, in which both sides of a currency trade settle simultaneously or not at all, thereby reducing counterparty and settlement risk.

The project goes beyond a tech experiment, Ariyasinghe said. Chainlink is drawing a line in the sand between theoretical "proofs-of-concept" and actual infrastructure.

supply Is tightening - Traders, is the altseason narrative back?Altcoins have struggled to establish clear trend as liquidity remains concentrated in a class of assets. While some tokens continue facing profit-taking and exchange inflows, others are beginning to show signs of supply tightening.

Against this backdrop, Gate's net flow data indicates that there is selective capital rotation in the altcoin sector rather than a complete exit from the space. Between late 2025 and mid-June 2026, numerous asset classes demonstrated consistent withdrawal-dominant behavior.

When withdrawals occur for extended periods of time, it typically signals investor activity. The nature of this investor activity can vary and may include either selling or simply moving coins.

As these outflows continued, the accumulation signals began to grow stronger. On the flip side, Ethereum [ETH], Chainlink [LINK], Uniswap [UNI], and 1Inch [1INCH] were exhibiting higher deposit activity vs. withdrawals.

Therefore, capital appears to be rotating toward selected altcoins rather than supporting the market uniformly. If broader conditions improve, assets already showing sustained outflows could be better positioned to attract speculative demand

AAVE price prediction – Will it fall to $50 after rejection at $78-level?Aave [AAVE] was one of the tokens that saw a strong bounce earlier this month following a sharp price crash at the start of June. The AAVE recovery measured 34.86% from the $57.83 low to the $77.99 local high. The size of this bounce should not confuse investors into thinking that a recovery is imminent.

Based on the price action, further bearish continuation appeared likely. Such a continuation may have already begun over the past 24 hours. The DeFi token shed 5.74% in 24 hours, and its daily trading volume was up 23%. Additionally, the Open Interest has crept lower by 6.20%.

Together, the volume signs point toward intensifying selling pressure. Examining longer-term price trends can help explain why AAVE is likely to trade at lower levels in the coming weeks.

Reasons why AAVE bears are in control
Recently, AMBCrypto reported a Grayscale Research prediction that Aave could trade at $175. The report suggested that the token was currently fairly priced based on the conventional discounted cash flow [DCF] analysis.

However, in the scenario where regulatory clarity accelerates tokenized asset adoption, AAVE’s price could go to the aforementioned target.The price structure was bearish on the 1-day timeframe after breaking the $85.05 low toward the end of May [orange]. The OBV has been in a downtrend in 2026, with some gains made in April and May. This indicated a brief spurt of buying, but not enough to change the long-term trend.

The $77.95 and $51.81 levels were key horizontal ones from the previous cycle. They served as support back in 2023 and 2024, but the former was tested as resistance in recent days. AAVE faced rejection at $78 and is likely to go towards $50 next.

On the Ethereum side, the analyst noted that ETH is trading below the 200-hour simple moving average. According to Martinez, unless Ethereum regains this level, the $1,580 level can be watched as the next important target.
