One of Ethereum’s most notorious MEV bots, known as JaredFromSubway, has reportedly been drained for around $7.5 million after attacker-controlled contracts tricked its automated system into granting token approvals.TL;DR

CoinDesk reported that Blockaid identified the exploit, saying attacker-controlled contracts tricked the bot into approving fake trading routes. Those approvals were later used to drain WETH, USDC and USDT from the bot’s contract. The incident has drawn attention because JaredFromSubway has long been associated with aggressive sandwich trading on Ethereum.








The irony is hard to miss. MEV bots are built to exploit tiny timing and routing advantages in on-chain markets. In this case, the bot’s own automation appears to have become the weakness. Instead of extracting value from other users, it was manipulated into approving contracts that later drained its balances.What HappenedThe reported exploit was not a hack of Ethereum’s base protocol. It was also not a broad failure of a major DeFi application used by ordinary depositors. The target was a specific MEV bot and the logic it used to interact with contracts during automated trading.That distinction matters. MEV infrastructure moves quickly and often relies on highly automated decision-making. If that automation can be tricked into approving the wrong contract, the risk can be severe because transactions execute with little human review.

Ripple Price Prediction: XRP Risks Deeper Drop as $1.07 Support Comes Under Pressure


$XRP remains under pressure after failing to sustain last week’s recovery attempt. The latest price action shows sellers regaining control near a key resistance zone, pushing the asset back toward a major support area that is now becoming the focal point for the short-term trend.

Ripple Price Analysis: The Daily Chart

On the daily timeframe, $XRP continues to trade within a broad descending channel and remains below both the 100- and 200-day moving averages. The recent rebound stalled beneath the 100-day MA and the lower boundary of the highlighted resistance zone around $1.28 to $1.35, reinforcing the bearish higher-timeframe structure.

The most recent development is the rejection from that resistance area and the subsequent move back toward the $1.07 to $1.15 demand zone. This support region has repeatedly attracted buyers throughout June and remains the most important level on the chart.

As long as $XRP holds above this zone, the market may continue consolidating within its current range. However, a decisive breakdown below $1.07 would expose the previous swing low and significantly increase the probability of another leg lower.

On the upside, buyers must reclaim the $1.28 to $1.35 resistance area before any meaningful trend reversal can be considered.
