Solana faces $75 hurdle - Can strong ETF demand push SOL higher?Solana [$SOL] rebounded above the $70 mark with price up by about 2% in the past 24 hours at press time, amidst a wider market recovery. Notably, the daily trading volume was up more than 20% to around $2.20 billion.

Solana's rally began late last week after a TD Sequential buy signal, lifting the price about 8% from $68 to $74. However, momentum now appears to be shifting on shorter timeframes.

Solana indicator flashes sell signal As the price of Solana rises above $70, it encounters a heavy resistance at $75, which could be a hurdle to this recovery.

Moreover, the TD Sequential has flashed sell on the 4-hour timeframe as it tests its resistance trendline. The resistance is coinciding with the 200 SMA, showing its a strong area of supply. As such, it could suggest that $SOL is about to undergo a minor pullback to $72 or even lower levels.However, $SOL remains structurallybullish in the near-term. In fact, Solana was showing more strength than Ethereum [ETH], explaining why its Solana ETFs inflows and network activity remain strong contrary to what the charts could do.

Bitcoin price climbed above $65,000 Monday morning, caught between a sixth straight week of spot ETF outflows, a hawkish Federal Reserve debut, and a U.S.-Iran peace deal that gave risk assets a short-lived lift.

The move higher came as U.S. and Iranian officials reported progress at peace talks in Switzerland, building on last week’s signed memorandum of understanding that formally ended more than 100 days of conflict.

The deal reopened the Strait of Hormuz, through which roughly a fifth of the world’s oil flows, and sent crude prices to three-month lows. The initial geopolitical relief pushed the bitcoin price to $66,230 late last week before the macro picture reasserted itself.

That reassertion came in the form of new Fed Chair Kevin Warsh, whose first FOMC meeting landed as a hawkish reset. Warsh expressed a strict commitment to returning inflation to the 2% target — a stance shaped in part by May CPI coming in at 4.2%, well above target.

Franklin Templeton has completed its acquisition of 250 Digital.
Franklin Templeton has completed its acquisition of 250 Digital, the crypto investment firm spun out of CoinFund in January 2026, and used the closing to launch a new institutional business line called Franklin Crypto. 

The deal, first announced in April, marks one of the most concrete moves by a major legacy asset manager to build a dedicated crypto operation from within.

250 Digital came into existence at the start of 2026 as a standalone entity carved out of CoinFund Management, bringing with it a team built around liquid crypto strategies and institutional-grade portfolio construction. 

Christopher Perkins, who leads the firm, will now head Franklin Crypto. Seth Ginns, 250 Digital’s chief investment officer, will carry that title into the new division. Both spent years at CoinFund before the spinout and bring deep roots in the institutional digital asset world.

The new Franklin Crypto unit is aimed at pensions, sovereign wealth funds, and large asset allocators that want exposure to digital assets through regulated structures. Its strategy spans liquid token markets, venture exposure, and structured products tied to blockchain infrastructure.

One of the more striking details of the transaction is how it was paid. Franklin Templeton used BENJI tokens — the on-chain representation of its Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund — as part of the acquisition consideration. 

That makes this deal among the first major M&A transactions in financial services to be settled using tokenized fund shares rather than cash or conventional securities.
