Bitcoin (BTC) Price Struggles to Hold $64K Support While Liquidity Favors the Upside — What’s Next?

The Bitcoin price remains under the influence of this week’s FOMC meeting, where the Federal Reserve kept rates unchanged while maintaining a cautious stance on inflation and future policy easing. The decision initially triggered volatility across risk assets, with BTC briefly pushing higher before giving back gains as traders digested the Fed’s projections and Powell’s remarks.

Despite the post-FOMC volatility, Bitcoin continues to hold above a key structural support zone near 64K. The inability of sellers to force a deeper breakdown suggests that the market is treating the recent weakness as a retracement rather than a trend reversal.

With macro uncertainty temporarily out of the way, traders are now shifting focus back to market structure, liquidity positioning, and derivatives flows to determine whether BTC can reclaim higher value areas and continue its advance toward overhead liquidity targets.

Liquidity Remains Positioned Above Current Price
Bitcoin’s recent plunge to the $60,000 demand zone was immediately met by the buying interest that prevented the price from testing lower targets. With this, the capital rotated back into the token, which pushed the token slightly higher. However, the liquidity profile remains skewed to the upside as large clusters remain concentrated above the current range, specifically around $68,000. Hence, this price range could be decisive, as a breakout may trigger a strong price action.

Bitcoin steadied near $64,000 over the weekend, clawing back part of Friday's drop, as traders weighed the start of US-Iran ceasefire talks against a renewed threat to close the Strait of Hormuz.

The token traded around $64,200 on Sunday, up 0.9% over 24 hours but roughly flat on the week, per CoinDesk data, after dropping below $63,000 on Friday. Most majors firmed alongside it.

Ether rose 0.5% on the day and 3.3% on the week to $1,734, solana gained 1.5% to $73 and tron added 1.2%. Hyperliquid's HYPE slipped 2% on the day but remains the week's standout, up 14.8%. Dogecoin was the weakest major, down 4.9% over seven days.

Bitcoin has gone nowhere on net this week, rallying early on the signed Iran deal, selling off Friday in a broad risk-off move, and stabilizing over the weekend.

Falling prices usually send investors running for the exits. But not every investor runs those who has a heart of steel and patience in mind like Robert Kiyosaki, they wait for the right moment to push their gun powder in.

Today, in a post he revealed his brilliant mindset that declining gold and silver prices are not pushing him to sell. Instead, he is watching the broader economic backdrop while keeping a close eye on Bitcoin, Ethereum, precious metals like Gold and Silver, and technical charts before making his next move.

The message was simple: Price alone doesn’t drive investment decisions, but context does.

Kiyosaki argued that one of the biggest mistakes investors make is allowing price movements to determine whether to buy or sell an asset. According to his post, he prefers evaluating the environment surrounding an asset rather than reacting to short-term volatility.

For real estate, that means studying factors such as job growth and local conditions. Meanwhile, for gold, silver, Bitcoin, and Ethereum, his focus shifts toward political leadership, banking systems, and the broader health of the global economy.

Notably, he expressed concern that current political and banking leaders are making economic challenges worse rather than solving them.
Even so, Kiyosaki isn’t rushing into the market. Indirectly, he isn’t aggressively looking for a trade to punch; he’s calm on the current situation.

Moreover, he said that he’s actively into the charts and intends to buy only when the price reverses its current declines. He is not looking to jump on blind optimism, especially when macro uncertainty is way too much to handle; any move can quickly turn upside down any good price action.

Bitcoin has climbed more than 2% to $63,770 after a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah helped ease market fears and pushed oil prices toward an 8% weekly decline.

According to crypto.news data, Bitcoin price climbed 2.4% to an intraday high of $63,770 on June 20 before easing slightly to around $63,600. The move followed a 7% decline from the June 15 high near $67,200 to a local low around $62,300 on June 18, a drop that coincided with ETF outflows, geopolitical uncertainty, and a broader flight from risk assets.

Fresh optimism emerged after reports that Israel and Hezbollah had agreed to a ceasefire scheduled to begin Friday. Reuters cited a U.S. official confirming the agreement, while Iranian officials signaled readiness to resume diplomacy with Washington if the terms are respected.

The developments reduced immediate fears of a wider regional conflict and helped drive crude oil prices toward an 8% weekly decline, with Brent and WTI benchmarks trading near multi-week lows.

Safe-haven assets such as gold and silver also lost momentum as investors rotated capital into higher-risk assets. Gold fell 1.6% over the past 24 hours while silver dropped roughly 2%, coinciding with Bitcoin’s recovery from weekly lows.

Options positioning and short covering add fuel to rebound
Derivatives traders have turned a technical bounce into a recovery rally. A large options expiry may also be contributing to the move. Nearly $10.6 billion in Bitcoin options are set to expire on June 26, with market participants closely watching the event after reports showed a significant portion of open interest sits above current prices.

From a technical perspective, the HYPE crypto price prediction now hinges on whether bulls can push through the key $76 resistance zone. 

A successful breakout above this level could trigger a move toward the 1.272 Fibonacci extension at $91.72, opening the door for fresh price discovery. On the downside, immediate support remains around $64.47, which aligns with both the ascending trendline and a key Fibonacci confluence zone. Meanwhile, the MACD indicator is beginning to recover after a recent cooldown, signaling that bullish momentum may be rebuilding. 

Currently, the breakout is not confirmed yet. For the token to reach those higher targets, bulls need to decisively reclaim $76 and sustain momentum that may push the price beyond $90. Until then, the Hyperliquid (HYPE) price remains in a consolidation phase where another rejection could trigger a pullback toward the mid-$60s. In short, the setup still favors upside, but the market now needs confirmation.
