The announcement covered every major segment of finance. Coinbase framed the release around three pillars: more assets to trade, smarter trading tools, and a broader financial services suite.

The product list includes tokenized U.S. stocks for non-U.S. customers launching next month, backed 1:1 by the underlying asset with full shareholder rights, dividend payouts, and the ability to lend shares for yield or use them as collateral. U.S. customers are excluded per regulatory disclosures.

On the lending side, Coinbase is now accepting bitcoin as collateral for home mortgages in partnership with Better, with Fannie Mae backing the structure. Customers can pledge BTC without selling it to qualify for a home purchase.

Ethereum exchange reserves have fallen to their lowest level in nearly a decade, leaving around 14.5 million $ETH on centralized platforms and reducing the amount of liquid supply available for sale.
At the same time, futures traders continue building bullish positions even as spot demand remains relatively subdued.
Analysts argue that a return of spot buyers could create a supply imbalance, potentially supporting stronger price action in the months ahead.
Ethereum exchange reserves have reached their lowest level in 10 years, renewing debate over whether the market is moving toward a supply shock. The trend reflects investors shifting $ETH into staking, self-custody, and decentralized finance, while liquid supply on exchanges continues to shrink.

DeFi Lending and DEX Fees Slump as Leverage Drains Out After June SelloffFees across DeFi's largest lending protocols and decentralized exchanges fell by as much as much as 65%, a broad contraction that lending and credit-market operators attribute to leverage unwinding after early June's selloff rather than a structural break in onchain credit.

Rolling seven-day fees of Aave V3, the largest decentralized lending protocol by TVL, dropped by 60% versus the previous perid, to $6.72 million, per DefiLlama. Morpho Blue’s fees fell by 60% to $3.27 million and Maple Finance’s dropped 59% to $1.25 million. The pullback was just as steep on exchanges: Uniswap V3 fees fell 57% to $3.74 million and Curve DEX dropped 65% to $891,000.

The weekly numbers look like a rout. The 30-day numbers do not. Over the trailing month, Morpho Blue's fees are up 23%, Maple's up 49%, Uniswap V3's up 27% and Curve's up 71%, DefiLlama data show. The gap between a steep weekly drop and a higher monthly signal a deleveraging reset.Fees on variable-rate onchain credit and trading venues move with the amount of leverage and risk appetite in the system.

The week the contraction is measured against included early June's selloff and one of the heaviest liquidation days of the year, when unwinding positions and spiking borrow rates generate outsized fees, said Himanshu Sahay, co-founder of Arch Network, a fixed-rate onchain lending platform, rejects the framing outright.

“Crash weeks generate outsized fees as leverage unwinds and borrow rates spike. The past week was the calmer, deleveraged aftermath, so the comparison reads as a collapse when it is closer to mean reversion," Sahay said.

The mechanism is structural to the product, he added: "Fees on these protocols track how much leverage is in the system, so when utilization falls, rates and fees fall with it. That sensitivity is

The Pattern Forming on the Four Hour Chart
A double bottom pattern, also known as a W pattern, is developing on the four-hour $XRP chart at a resistance zone between $1.18 and $1.19. $XRP is currently struggling to close convincingly above that level, producing candles that briefly push through but fail to hold.

The same double bottom pattern has already played out and confirmed on Bitcoin’s chart. $XRP is lagging behind, still at the potential breakout point while Bitcoin has already cleared its equivalent resistance and moved toward the next target. That lag is consistent with the broader pattern of major altcoins following Bitcoin’s price action with a delay.

Important Levels
A confirmed breakout above $1.19 with sustained closes above that level would technically target approximately $1.29, representing a 9% to 10% move from the breakout point. Resistance along the way sits at approximately $1.24, which would likely slow any rally before the $1.29 target is reached.

If $XRP breaks out but then falls back below $1.18, that would invalidate the pattern and the associated price target entirely. The $1.13 weekly support remains the floor that must hold to keep the broader structure intact.
