Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has emerged as the dominant marketplace for $BILL, the native token of the Billions network.

The BILLUSDT trading pair on Bybit Spot recorded a 24-hour trading volume of $1.69 billion as of May 15, 2026.

According to CoinGecko data, Bybit accounts for 77.24% of all centralized exchange trading activity for the token.

$BILL’s broader market activity has also drawn attention, with over $2.19 billion in 24-hour global trading volume recorded across all venues.

Billions describes itself as a global human and AI network built on mobile-first verification, designed to confirm the identity and uniqueness of both humans and AI agents while offering users personalized experiences and rewards.

To coincide with the token’s momentum, Bybit is running a Token Splash promotion distributing a total of 29,000,000 $BILL across its Spot and Alpha platforms with 20,000,000 $BILL allocated to Spot users and 9,000,000 $BILL to Alpha users.

Bybit’s fast listing strategy, deep liquidity, and tight spreads were cited as factors behind its dominance in early-stage token markets.

Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala disclosed a 16% increase in its Bitcoin ETF position to $566 million in Q1 2026.

The SEC 13F filing shows Mubadala held 14,721,917 shares of BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust valued at $565,616,051 as of March 31, 2026. The fund added approximately 2 million shares during the quarter, up from 12,702,323 shares at the end of Q4 2025.

Mubadala manages a global portfolio exceeding $330 billion in assets. The IBIT position has become one of its most visible public market holdings, with the fund obtaining Bitcoin exposure through the regulated ETF structure rather than direct cryptocurrency custody.

Abu Dhabi’s combined IBIT position across Mubadala and Al Warda Investments crossed $1 billion at year-end 2025, marking a milestone for Gulf Cooperation Council sovereign participation in regulated Bitcoin products. The Q1 2026 filing pushes Mubadala’s position past the half-billion dollar mark for the third consecutive quarter.

The accumulation has continued through periods of price weakness. ADIC, the Abu Dhabi entity operating under Mubadala, characterised its Bitcoin allocation as a “long-term diversification strategy,” comparing Bitcoin to gold and saying it expects both to play structural roles in its portfolio as the

global economy becomes increasingly digital.

IBIT remains the dominant vehicle in the US spot Bitcoin ETF market. BlackRock’s fund recorded $596 million in net inflows in the most recent reporting week, extending a six-week inflow streak with cumulative assets now at $66.1 billion.

Goldman Sachs disclosed approximately $2.36 billion in total crypto exposure through IBIT and other vehicles in the same 13F filing cycle. Mubadala’s continued buying into declining Bitcoin prices reflects the sovereign fund’s decade-long investment horizon.

Jordan Jefferson, founder and CEO of DogeOS, said that the Dogecoin ecosystem is no longer solely dependent on Elon Musk’s influence and that the project is entering a more independent growth phase.

Speaking at the Consensus conference in Miami, Jefferson stated that Dogecoin has undergone a significant transformation in recent years, and that the ecosystem has become stronger with new technological advancements.

Jefferson acknowledged that Dogecoin had gained significant momentum in the past thanks to Elon Musk’s support. He specifically recalled that the $DOGE price reached historical highs after Musk’s statements on Saturday Night Live in 2021.

Bitcoin ($BTC) risks starting its “next downtrend” as bulls fail to break beyond $82,000, the latest analysis warns.

Bitcoin traders are beginning to sway toward a support retest or even a new "downtrend" for $BTC/USD.

Current price behavior has retained overhead resistance, with bulls unable to push through $82,000.

Rangebound crypto markets spark $330 million in liquidations over 24 hours.

Bitcoin traders are increasingly split on where $BTC/USD will go next, but calls for lower levels are growing.

“For now, price remains in range, within value, rotating just above the very key ‘range high,’” trading account JDK Analysis wrote in its latest updates on X.

As Cointelegraph reported, that rangebound construction, in place through most of May, is bordered by a CME futures gap and a key 200-day trend line to the upside.

With both staying in place for now, market participants are starting to assume that the bottom of the range will be retested instead.

“Now it’s important to watch how price reacts at the support zone we already bounced from once before. In my opinion, we will likely break below it this time,” CGT Trader said.

Trader BitBull went further, seeing the risk of a protracted period of downside $BTC price pressure about to enter.

“$BTC failed to reclaim the $82,000 level again,” they told X followers on Friday.

Trading circles are not without their more optimistic takes.Cryptic Trades predicts that $BTC/USD will follow in the footsteps of US stock markets, which continue to post new all-time highs.

“$BTC is going to play a massive catch-up in the upcoming weeks,” it summarized.

Examining the Bollinger Bands volatility indicator, meanwhile, trader Cai Soren said that bulls “stepped in instantly” to defend support.
